Location and service!
Hotel lindo, confortável e equipe muito atenciosa.
Localização e conforto.
very good location
excellent breakfast
Good location for seeing tourist attractions in Florence and handy for the train station
Felt very impersonal - we stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon and everywhere else we’d stayed in Tuscany had made a real effort to make it special, it wasn’t even mentioned at this hotel which felt like a disappointing end to our trip. It was also incredibly noisy - we could hear the street outside all night so made it difficult to sleep and also could hear other guests in the corridors of the hotel. I never normally write reviews but came away feeling disappointed especially for the price so had I read something similar I wouldn’t have booked!
Good location and beautiful lobby. The staff at reception and at the door were excellent and the highlight of the stay. Loved the turn down service. Loved the staff uniforms and it really gave an Italian feel. Good blackout windows and good air conditioning needed in the heat.
I think I felt from the photos that the hotel looked newer than it was. But you can clearly see it’s a renovation on top of an older hotel. It was still nice enough but the pictures created an expectation that wasn’t met. I was also disappointed in the bathroom size for a junior suite - it was cramped and a bit dark. On the first day we got there we had some stains on the towels but they were clean after that. The charging points at both our bed sides didn’t work which was super annoying when you are relying on your phone for site seeing. The staff at breakfast could have been a bit more proactive. At times we were sat with empty plates or needed new cutlery and you could just see staff chatting amongst themselves. Would have been nice for an à la carte breakfast options and fresh squeezed juices which would be my expectation from a five star hotel at this price. Breakfast was nice enough but had a bit of a mass produced vibe.
EVERY THING WAS PERFECT, NOTHING TO TELL MORE
The location of the hotel is phenomenal.
Breakfast quite solid for the money.
The towels are incredibly soft.
Huge amount of mosquitoes in the room. The room doesn't have insect netting on the windows so I wouldn't recommend keeping the windows open to avoid chasing them instead of sleeping.
The location was perfect in the center of everything but not on the busiest street. The rooms were huge and well decorated. The staff was so friendly. The ice machine in the common areas was a lovely plus.
Hotel has a creat location, walkable to all the touristy spots, museums, shops and restaurants. The overall property is nice, nice decor. Some of the rooms are spacious, some are not. My shower… terrible, every time I took a shower I ended up doing a mess and needing a big towel to dry the floor. The hotel is nice, but something is missing to make it special. Options at the breakfast are limited.
Perfect location and the staff were friendly and helpful 👌🏻
The Location: Absolutely excellent and perfect for exploring Florence.
The Service: The staff were incredibly lovely, welcoming, and provided great service from the moment we arrived.
The Room Condition: The room felt very basic, old, and is in need of renovation.
The Noise: The insulation is awfully poor. We could hear everything from both the street traffic and inside the hotel corridors.
The Value: At £625 for the night, it simply did not feel worth the price given the state of the room.
Hotel and staff are absolutely lovely. Hotel is beautiful & historic & centrally located. Rooms are very clean. There is a bit of street noise but we could sleep nonetheless. This was recommended by one of our friends & recommend highly to others.
