Pros:

Linda and Des were so welcoming from the moment I walked in. The Hotel is old world British seaside and I love how they have thoguht about guests needs. The set up downstairs with the Bar, the honesty box for drinks, snacks etc and that they even have takeaway plates etc if you decided on a takeaway in your room. They stored my bike too without any hassel. And it was an e bike. Room was spacious, clean. Bed was super comfortable and good set up with tea and coffee and smart TV etc. It was at thr front of the house and had plenty of light and view of the sea. Overall, stay exceeded my expectations. Good in some ways but bad in others.
Pros:

Having a pool. The breakfast. Comfortable bed. Plenty of information. Board games available.

Cons:

One staff member repeatedly rude. Room not serviced. Pool not clean. No proper shower. Water not hot. Bar rarely open.

A superb hotel in a fantastic location.

Very enjoyable stay, see you again next year.
Pros:

Linda and Des are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the bar for a drink in the evenings and the superb breakfasts. Such a choice to be had but between us I think we tried just about everything. The hotel was spotlessly clean as was our room with crisp bed linen, white fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Particularly enjoyed having BBC i player to catch up on a couple of programmes that we'd missed.

Cons:

Room was quite warm with the afternoon sun but we always kept the curtains drawn and that seemed to solve the problem. The room fan was a welcome addition.

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

The hosts were very welcoming & the place was lovely and clean. The 1st room was a little small, but we were given another room, which was much larger and more spacious.
The pool was a great touch, especially in this heatwave.

Cons:

I realize that the place is an older property but could use a little air conditioning, but as above, it was exceptionally hot the week we stayed.

Pros:

Close to beach. Pool attractive and clean

Cons:

Duvet far too hot in warm weather. A top sheet would have been much better. Water pressure low in shower.

Food was great although we only had breakfast and the little shop was handy

Cons:

Would have preferred a shower rather than a bath, and there was nothing to hold onto when getting in or out it.
