I stayed here for one night in January ahead of a ski trip. It happened to be the weekend that a severe ice storm was impacting much of the eastern US, so the hotel was quite busy. I caught the shuttle from the airport and the next morning took it back to the airport to meet my group. It leaves at :15 and :45 after the hour going from the airport to the hotel and at the top and bottom of the hour on the return. Conveniently the Hyatt House is both the first and last stop on the shuttle route.
As I was just there for a quick overnight, I reserved a Studio King Room. Hyatt Houses are, in general, built for folks staying more than a night or two, or for families. Still, the room felt quite tight after I hauled in my giant skis bag and rolling duffel. I was constantly stepping over or around my luggage. There was surprising little storage for personal effects; just four drawers under the TV and a couple more in the bathroom.
The room had a large L-shaped sleeper sofa with ottoman and the TV could be swiveled between the sofa area and the bed area. The two areas are just loosely divided; there are no solid walls separating the area. Beside the sofa was a desk with easy-to-reach outlets as well as an ethernet connection. While I used the WiFi, it's always nice knowing the "landline version" of internet is also available.
The bed area had a king bed with a night stand on either side. Electric outlets in the bedside lamps meant it was easy to charge my devices, so kudos for that. The bed sagged a bit on the side near the bathroom, presumably because that side gets the most use. Since I was by myself I just slid over a bit and slept quite well.
The bathroom was quite large with a large counter beside the sink that extended over a shelf of extra bath linens as well as a couple of drawers. Across from the sink was a wide, mirrored closet. Further back was a large shower stall that featured both a bench in the back and a wonderful showerhead that had an adjustable spray that I could set to my personal preference.
When stepping into the room from the hallway you step right into the kitchen which features a full-sized refrigerator, a 2-burner stove, a microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. There wasn't a whole lot in the way of pots & pans but that didn't really matter to me.
The room was showing signs of wear as can be expected of both an airport hotel that sees a lot of traffic and a hotel that's been open 10+ years. A little TLC wouldn't go amiss in rooms like the one I stayed in where there were visible signs of rust around the shower and some of the furniture looked banged up.
The lobby has lots of different seating areas, useful as breakfast seating, seating for the Hbar in the evenings, and for just sitting around and chatting. The breakfast buffet is served 6-10 AM. It's not extravagant but it's a mid-range airport hotel so it's fine for what it is. The Hbar is open 5-10 PM and is a full-service bar with a bistro menu. My only complaint is that the night I was there, only 1 person was working the bar and she was also taking dinner orders and even cooking the meals. It was a lot for one person to manage.
Next to the front desk there's a small store with travel-sized toiletries and OTC medicines as well as snacks, cold beverages (both soft drinks and adult), and a freezer that include frozen dinners and ice cream.
There's a small business center comprised of two PCs and a printer. They are outside the two conference rooms that can be combined into a single, larger one.
The fitness center is open 4 AM - 10 PM. The nearby indoor pool is open from 6 AM to 10 PM. They are in an area of the hotel that is a bit separate from rooms so hopefully any noise from them isn't an issue.
The only issue I had with my stay is that the heater on my ground floor hallway was not working at full capacity. I wanted a ground floor room as I had two giant bags so I selected that option and I slept quite well, but it sure was chilly getting out of bed into a 63F room the next morning. As I understand it, that was the heater's first big test of the season and it only impacted that one hallway, so hopefully it got corrected soon after my departure.
I often stay at Denver Airport hotels the night before my friends fly in and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We loved the room, the breakfast buffet was delicious 😋 thank you thank you. My husband and I will be back soon

AVOID this location!
Atmosphere was full of employees talking about how much they hated their jobs.
The entire 4th floor smelt of weed even though it’s a non smoking hotel. Hotel staff didn’t do anything other than give us a box fan. We had kids with us and no sense of urgency to resolve our issue. Was told it would be forwarded to management but we’ve been here for a week and haven’t heard anything.
Formal complaint has been filed. Save your money and stay somewhere else! It wasn’t worth the $2600 we paid.
Great spot near the airport if you are long layover, clean and has a pool for the kids and staff was great, specially Jett.
I stayed here a whole week for business and i found this hotel very comfortable and nice. The room Is full with everything you need, fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, pots, dishes, etc.
The bed Is very comfortable and there are also a swimming pool and a fitness room.
People are nice and the help you in anyway you need , expecially Jett but everybody are nice and professional.
Last but nit least a free shuttle to/from the airport
I surely come back in my next trip in Denver
I had a really nice stay here. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable everything just felt easy from the time I checked in until I left. The staff was friendly and welcoming,
Check-in was quick, the location was convenient, and the complimentary breakfast was the only place that needs some help.Would come back
The worst service experience I have ever had in my life. I booked a hotel and a few hours later I had to cancel due to an emergency that happened to my girlfriend. The hotel refused to refund my money. I am going to write a letter to the hotel management and tell them about the bad experience I had. I left a phone number at the reception to speak to a manager but they never called me back.
We recently booked this hotel for visit to the Denver area. After getting in late, we were welcomed by a room full of moths. They couldn’t change our room, so we had no choice but to deal with it for the night. The next morning, they were just as bad and appeared to be coming in through the bathroom vents. Once I secured another hotel, we checked out. After multiple calls and emails, the management finally responded with a simple “it’s that time of the year” and even charged me for a full night I didn’t even stay there because I checked out late. They awarded me some Hyatt points but no refund or even any discount for our “buggy” stay. Interestingly enough, our next hotel down the street had no moth issues. Stay clear of this hotel. It is poorly managed.
Large room, great price, easy to find, clean, helpful staff. Furniture, walls and baseboards worn and beat up in this room. First time for that with Hyatt. Clean and not broken but visuably worn which was unusual in our experience.
Close to the airport with clean, well equipped rooms but they need additional staff in the restaurant otherwise you'll have to wait...
For the $$ - this was a great hotel and served its purpose. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, super close to the Gaylord, and there was a Peleton in the gym.
Great hotel. Great room, very comfortable and big for my husband and 13 year old. Very safe. Breakfast was very different than what we’ve been used to at other Hyatt hotels. But overall great experience
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places before and Tara took care of us. She was so professional and kind and sweet super friendly. I wish this was how all of the front staff acted when I stayed in hotels elsewhere..
I would like to say this hotel was a very clean and have the most friendly staff ever..... If you are ever in the Denver area the is the hotel you need safe travels to everyone!!!!!!
Stayed here the 2nd time long-term for business reasons. Great rooms with kitchenette. Close to the airport and very easy to reach. Even with the proximity to the airport and interstates quiet and relaxing. Clean rooms and an excellent job of the house-keeping team. Very warm welcoming and arrival. Great team at the front desk and the backoffice.
Would not recommend only one person on site restaurant and bar was closed. No manager on duty. Hot tub was broken no mention on the website as a warning. No a charger plug-ins in the room but one other chargers and lamp. Plug-ins did not work.
Restaurant and bar closed despite the website indicating it was open every day. Worst beds in history. Staff attitude was indifferent to our comments about the restaurant being closed. She could have had the shuttle drop us off at the Doubltree for dinner if she wanted to since they were losed.
The point of any airport hotel is to be near the airport and this one certainly is, and it offers an apparently convenient shuttle, though we didn't use it because we had a rental car. But the service is excellent, from the welcome at check-in through our experience at the bar and the (admittedly limited) restaurant. Our room was spacious, clean, and intelligently designed, with almost a full kitchen, an ample seating area (couch, table, ottomans), a work desk, a bedroom with a king size bed and room to walk around it (and a TV that swivels to face either the couch or the bed), and a large bathroom. Much of this was wasted on us, there only one night with a very early flight out the next morning, but this would be a great base for anyone in Denver for a few days or a week for business or pleasure.
Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back!
Great hotel. Helpful front desk folks. Clean and comfortable. Shuttle service was great. Will return again when I am in need of a hotel
