Perfect location in the heart of the Old Town, within walking distance of all the main attractions, as well as the train and bus stations.
We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful, spacious room with a stunning view of Riga Cathedral. The room had many thoughtful touches, a very comfortable bed and pillows, and blackout curtains. I usually only sleep well in my own bed, but here I slept perfectly. The Samsung Frame TV with plenty of English channels and streaming apps was a nice bonus. Our room was cleaned every day, and the coffee pods and bathroom amenities were refilled without us having to ask.
The interior design is fascinating and unlike any hotel we’ve stayed in. Instead of the usual historic décor, the hotel combines a UNESCO heritage building with creative industrial-style artwork and lighting inspired by engineering. It felt to us like a tribute to Riga’s industrial heritage, and we’d love to know the story behind the design.
The staff were exceptional. I’ve only experienced this level of hospitality in Bali before. We kept joking that they treated us like VIP guests because everyone made us feel so genuinely welcome.
Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of hot and cold dishes, great coffee, and delicious Latvian specialities that changed every day, so there was always something new to try.
We booked directly with the hotel and received complimentary private access to the spa for two hours. It was a wonderful experience and the perfect way to relax.
It’s clear that a great deal of thought has gone into every detail, from the unique design to the exceptional service. Highly recommended.
Everything. Wonderful hotel - great staff - gorgeous location and very convenient. Accomodation lovely. Breakfast outstanding . Couldn't fault anything.
The position of the hotel is in the Old Riga, rounded with a lot of restaurants, shops and a lot of historical attractions. The breakfast was very good and enough long time continuous. It's a walk distance to all useful places, like a stations and other meet-points.
There is no loby-bar at the hotel and the restaurant doesn't works on Mondays and on Sundays.
The cleaning staff doesn't uses a vacuum cleaner, only a mop.
Perfect central location in Old Town
Nothing!
Lovely property, well located and well appointed
The outside street was quite noisy, but we got unlucky because there was a wedding party that went on all night
A hotel in the old town in a great location in a very beautiful and well-known historic Art Nouveau building from which it is easy to reach almost all the interesting things on foot and also the bus station is a few minutes' walk away, including the bus to the airport. The hotel is on a small street with many cafes and restaurants a minute's walk from Dome Square and another square where there is also a branch of the excellent Lidow restaurant. The room was great and they took my request into account and I got a room with a view of the Dome Tower, a real postcard view, the room was spacious and comfortable including a kitchenette, table and armchairs and a desk and more. The breakfast was varied, high quality and good, the staff were very nice. Amazing value for money and I recommend it.
Neiburgs Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the middle of the middle of Riga's old town. There is absolutely no better location in the city. A welcoming staff and a very nice room waited for us for our three days visit. The room is very large and has a useful kitchenette. The bathroom is also very nice and everything is spotless clean. Breakfast on demand (and payable, of course). Nice and cosy atmosphere. Also, very silent, although restaurants with live music are literally round the corner. All in all, a great experience.
Since we were husband and wife, maybe a large bed would have been preferable instead of two separate beds, but this is just a detail.
