Pros:

Pain et viennoiseries excellentes au petit-déjeuner. Le décor de l’hôtel est superbe.

Cons:

Le garage privé payant (18 euros) est trop étroit, nous n’avons pas pu l’utiliser et avons donc payé pour rien. L’hôtel est vénérable et les parquets grincent un peu.

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Loved the area, Aubusson is a vibrant, visually stunning and cool place. I liked that the hotel has been around for quite a few years and seen a lot of history - so the fact that my room was, how to say...basic, it met my needs for an overnight stay. Dinner was great. The staff were great too.

Super hotel in great position
Pros:

We had a deluxe room. Potentially very good but the room is being decorated at the moment so the little decorative touches that add interest were missing. eg pictures
The bathroom was very nice indeed with generous walk in shower.
Comfortable bed

Cons:

The bathroom light fitting was hanging off and the plate surrounding the light switch had been removed for painting so it felt unfinished.

OK, but would not return or recommend.
Pros:

Located in the center of the town.

Cons:

At one point there was no water in the hotel so we were unable to shower. Our dinner and breakfast was underwhelming.
Low beams in our room were an obstacle.

Personnel agréable. Literie correct. Et c'est le maximum possible.

Cons:

Nous avons trouvé cet établissement dans son jus et vieillot. Le patrimoine peut être mis en valeur avec élégance et simplicité, mais pas ici. Le petit déjeuner servi à table est correct si on ne regarde pas le prix. L'argument des produits locaux fait sourire avec un yaourt de Haute-Savoie. La surprise c'est la chambre.. Sans cohérence, sans décoration, avec du mobilier semblant avoir été récupéré chez Emmaüs. La literie du grand lit est correcte, celle du petit l'est beaucoup moins. Nous avons été sidérés par la salle de bain (voir les photos): moisissures, saletés, serviettes en lambeaux, problèmes électriques, poussières, eau stagnante dans la baignoire,.. Comme partout, il faisait chaud et la chambre n'est pas climatisée (contrairement à ce que dit le propriétaire, ce n'est pas impossible à cause de la structure du bâtiment ancien; c'est juste plus coûteux que pour une structure plus actuelle). Dans la chambre, aucune attention pour le client, pas un sachet de thé, pas même une bouteille d'eau. J'ai payé une nuit, une chambre pour 3 personnes avec petits déjeuners à plus de 180€. Je me suis bien fait avoir! C'est un hôtel 3 étoiles qui n'en mérite pas une. Ça s'appelle "Le France".. Quelle insulte au pays! Quelle image pour les visiteurs étrangers!
