Westcord Hotel Delft is a modern, newish hotel located just outside Delft City Central. It’s a very easy walk 10-15 minutes walk to Old Town and is adjacent to a very large park area with many walking and biking trails.
Very large living room style relaxation areas in the lobby and on first floor. Wonderful breakfast buffet for every taste and I never had to ask for anything as it’s constantly replenished.
The front desk staff is the most helpful, friendly, charming staff I’ve ever encountered. Lotte, our first human encounter here was so helpful and kind I have to mention her by name, but all the women at the front desk exhibited the desire to make us feel at home and were so very helpful.
Although there isn’t much choice for dinner nearby, the hotel restaurant was quite good with an interesting menu. The service staff again was delightful and very considerate.
The gym and sauna are first rate with many options for your exercise regimen. Both areas are beautifully maintained.
I truly can’t find anything negative to say about the entire stay.
When next time we are in the area I will not hesitate to book here. You should too.

Nearby activitiesThere is a very large park adjacent to the hotel behind the IKEA. Many activities are available there. Bicycles are available from the hotel to explore here if you don’t want to walk or jog.
SafetyI never had a thought about safety. There was never any situation that made me feel uncomfortable
WalkabilityVery walkable to Delft City Center. We are in our 70’s and walked to City Center and all around the old town several days.
Food & drinksFull service bar is part of the restaurant area, we didn’t have drinks, but the bar seemed to be open throughout the day and evening.
Noteworthy detailsThe lobby is beautifully appointed with many sofas, lounge chairs, and places to work. There also is a large relaxation area on the first floor that can also be transformed into a large meeting hall. Several meetings took place during our stay and there never was any noise or commotion noticeable in our first floor room.

Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en van goede kwaliteit. Personeel attent en hulpvaardig. Het gebruikte diner was redelijk, enigszins "pittig". Kamer was ruim voldoende en van vele gemakken voorzien. De receptie heeft ons uitstekend geholpen.

Frisse kamer, qua hygiëne als styling. Super bed, fijn beddengoed. Geluidsarme airco, geen geluid van buitenaf.

De rustige ligging van de kamer. Ze luisteren echt naar houw vraag.

Our stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The property is conveniently located near IKEA, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. We did note that it's not particularly close to the metro or downtown, so location preference may depend on your needs and how you're traveling.

The room was spacious, pleasant, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing.

What made our stay truly memorable was the thoughtful staff. We were genuinely touched by the beautiful decoration and personalized birthday card from trainee receptionist Lotte. Her attention to detail made our birthday celebration feel special.

We highly recommend this hotel, especially for those with their own transportation.

The inside is well-kept and stylish. Especially the lobby, including its seating and dinning areas, are large and inviting. The suite's Ikea furniture is incredibly practical and well thought-through, like the Bluetooth ceiling speakers. The Sauna and workout room on the fifth floor offered a nice view and spacious relaxation/fitness space.

Nice rooms, great to have a laundry, good gym, excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Suggestions: please have bike helmets as an option when renting bikes. Very important for guests who value their brain cells.

Good places to sit in common areas and use your laptop.

Location: near a nice to walk (a forest). Bit far from center of Delft. No restaurants nearby, but hotel restaurant is good.

For amusement, you can visit the giant IKEA store next door.
