I thought it was over priced for what I got.
Pros:

Location for me was good although difficult to find from the details given .

Cons:

The room was very shabby. The door surround had not been painted and was only in undercoat. There were no bedside lights. There was no sanitary bin in the bathroom.

As clean and comfortable as would expect for the price.
Pros:

Convenient location. Quirky decor.
Friendly staff who were very willing to help.

Cons:

Noisy bar and lounge area. Staff weren’t always as slick as would like.
Breakfast was not good value.
The toilet in our en suite had a very wobbly seat. The shower had a step up into it that was about 10 inches high with no rubber mat or grab handle.
Disappointing that the wash basin was outside the en suite.

Inadequate in a bueatful building

The property was easy to find and a perfect location

Cons:

There was confusion at check in, they had our details but didn’t have a room available, although this was resolved. The room was not cleaned properly, dirt and dust in the hard to get at places, there was a bed side lamp but nowhere to plug it in. There was tea and coffee but nowhere kettle. In the en-suite there was a window with no curtain that could be looked through whilst you showered. When we went into the pub attached the tables were not cleaned and were sticky.

Good stay , great location for the town,
Pros:

Room was clean , staff friendly, good atmosphere in the bar downstairs

Cons:

Would have preferred a shower in the bathroom, this may have been my fault if it was listed as no shower, I was more concerned with having a private bathroom which it was .

Pros:

Our third stay at the Georgian House Hotel in the past 18 months, 20 minutes walk to city center and as we have arrived in a car it is good to park in the car park at the hotel.

Cons:

All is fine.

The breakfast was amazing! Staff were very friendly and the whole place was lovely. Traditional decor for the age of the building was very cosy and well kept.

It is a classic hotel that preserves its history—reminiscent of the Victorian era.

Cons:

We didn't like the beds; they were very old and creaky, and the mattresses were terrible—we found it hard to sleep and our backs hurt. Traffic noise was another downside; we didn't get a good rest because of those two factors.

Overpriced and disappointing.
Pros:

Breakfast chosen by us was ok. Location was handy for our trip. Free car parking was convenient.

Cons:

Mess in car park. Shabby decor. Broken lock on door, curtains in various rooms not hung correctly, dead bulbs in lights, toilet rim not cleaned, carpet edges taped in doorways, too much clutter, dog mess on decking outside room window and generally scruffy outside.

It very much suited our purpose and it was possible to have an evening meal and a good breakfast, too.
