Highly recommended! Visit and stay before the hotel closes permanently
Pros:

Superb location with view of the Jungfrau and Monch mountains. The village is close to Interlaken with an excellent train service throughout most of the region (hotel was only 5-7 minutes walk away). Staff were friendly and helpful. Possible to eat on the terrace as well as the dining room area. Very secure car parking available.

Cons:

Although there is no fridge in the room, there is a large refridgerator in the reception area with secure personalised boxes in it if required. (Deposit CHF10 which is refundable).
Unfortunately we were told that the hotel will close permanently in October as it is being turned into an elderly persons residence. A very great shame.

Great location.
Pros:

I liked the property. Been there before. Breakfast room is lovely. 2 mins walk to Wilderswil Train Station then you’re in Lauterbrunnen in 15 mins.

Base perfecta para explorar la zona.
Pros:

Magníficas vistas desde la habitación, con terraza muy agradable. Ubicación en zona muy tranquila para dar un paseo por los alrededores y a su vez a escasos cinco minutos de la estación de tren.
Buen restaurante y buen desayuno.
Destacar también la amabilidad del personal.

Cons:

Nada. Por poner una observación, el baño demasiado pequeño.

Bel emplacement. Dommage que cet hotel ferme
Pros:

Bien situé, vue exceptionnelle, personnel très gentil, petit dejeuner excellent. Souper de qualité. Eau chaude pour la douche et bon jet puissant avec bonne pression

Cons:

Chambre petite et pas clair lors de la reservation , il faisait chaud car pas d’AC, mais on avait un ventilateur. Pas avisée que nécessitait reservation pour le souper alors on a dû attendre 1heure

Had a foul smell from washroom - unpleasant stay

Cons:

The washroom had a foul smell from a clogged bath hole! So felt the stay unpleasant! No air conditioning and no refrigerator. Very old property! Not worth it for the price!

Pros:

Het personeel is super vriendelijk, goed ontbijt en de locatie is top. De kamer is ruim genoeg voor mij en schoon. Prijs-kwaliteit is erg goed/logisch (zie negatieve punten).

Cons:

Ik geef het alleen punten aftrek voor de staat van de kamer, want het is flink verouderd. De tegels zitten los aan de badkamermuur en er zitten barsten in. De vloer loopt ook af. In de gang zit ook een rare hobbel. Het is goed dat ze gaan verbouwen, want dat is echt nodig.

Peaceful serene very SWISS super close to the train, which was awesome quiet so quiet.
Pros:

This property is in a really quiet cute. Little town is super close to the train so it was very convenient to get to Lauterbrunnen and Griswald, which was awesome. Jonas was a total sweetheart, and I adored him. He made the experience better. The view from our room with spectacular looking at the mountains. Every morning was spectacular. It’s a really beautiful place. Very quiet lots of cows. That’s a sheep very Swiss. I really liked it.

Cons:

There was no air-conditioning, but we really didn’t need it. That’s pretty much it.
