Pros:

Bed was huge

Cons:

Was there as part of a wedding party. The food was awful. Main corse was cold and chicken was rubbery. They put the foid in a microwave to heat it up. There is nothing worse than reheat foid.
Shocking way to treat a young couple on their wedding day.
And not even a public apology.
Management need looking at. Nowhere near good enough

Pros:

I thought the dinning room was very welcoming with a lovely relaxing atmosphere . Couldn't fault breakfast, enjoyed it the three mornings we ate there.

Cons:

The dinners were appoling. Menu description was one thing, but what arrived on the dinner plate was another. My wife ordered fish pie and what was served was a small dish with two lukewarm prawns and a very small piece of salmon in salt water
There was no sauce, only a serving of wet mash potato topping.
I ordered a pork chop meal which was to be served on a bed of savoy cabbage with local sourced veg.and ayrshire bacon. When served there was no chop, no cabbage, no ayrshire bacon only a small strand of broccoli and one thin slice of carrot and two small pieces of pork. On complaining I was given a small dish of some shredded bacon and told there was no cabbage .
The whole dinner was apolling and no appologies given by the Management.

Needless to say we ate elsewhere for dinner for the rest of our stay.

Excellent all round and not so expensive.
Pros:

SECURE WiFi. Great to see one of the better hotels follow the lead of the less prtetentious by providing free and secure wifi.

Cons:

Hotel was very suited for disability access, but showering in the bath was difficult.

Cold, uncomfortable, smelly and unwelcoming.
Pros:

Location was suitable.
Food in dining room was very good.

Cons:

No warm welcome on arrival. Receptionist couldn’t help with basic knowledge on Fenwick.
Room was cold on arrival. Given an adjoining room with unruly children, making sound very noisy. Shower gel is microscopic. Shouldn’t need to ask for more. Air con was on in the dining room on a very cold evening. It was like dining in a fridge.
Smell of cooked food / breakfast all over the hotel is off putting. The walls in the bedroom were covered in marks, badly needs painted. Very shabby.
Poached eggs were overcooked. Extremely disappointing.

Will never go there again.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and the room nice and bed very comfortable but the bathroom needed an upgrade.

Cons:

We knew it was near the motorway but it was like we were sleeping on the hard shoulder. The noise of the traffic was non stop and unbearable.
The bedroom windows need to be triple glazed or more.

Stay on the 2nd floor and skip breakfast if you are in a rush!
Pros:

It’s comfortable and clean and staff are pleasant.

Cons:

Breakfast was old style which is a lot slower a Buffett I would have been in and out in no time. This made us rush and run late.

The lack of insulation from the top floor to the ground floor we had a very very noisy guest upstairs. Clearly a late flight arrival with kids stomping and jumping about. Not their fault they are not thinking about the room below as they expect the floor to have soundproofing.

Great value for money stay in an ideal location
Pros:

Very comfortable room and the breakfast was very good. Also the access to the hotel was perfect being just off the motorway.
