A mixed bag…
Pros:

The rooms are very clean and dependably nice…I have stayed twice. I would recommend a room with panoramic mountain views and a terrace…otherwise, they’re mostly the same. The breakfast varies and is sometimes better, depending on what they have in stock. Still, it’s nice enough to fill up on if you like breakfast, while enjoying a spectacular view. Bring your own coffee if quality matters to you. The pool area is very relaxing and comfortable with a huge supply of sun beds and umbrellas. The views from various parts of the property are lovely and contribute a lot to the relaxing stay experience.

Cons:

The staff are often unsympathetic and unfriendly. It’s a mixed bag. The few, more experienced staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. The others are just the opposite and a guest might feel like they are hated and unwelcome. Honestly, as a resident in this country, this is normal behaviour. Don’t take it personally. Just is.
The property itself is an expensive one to maintain due to its sheer size. Especially, the outdoor flooring is in such poor repair, we both tripped several times during our stay. Until they replace and upgrade certain areas, this is a real hazard.
Sorry, but unless you enjoy a very cheap, firm mattress or are used to traveling a lot and are flexible upon what you sleep, the beds are not comfortable as one might expect from a spa resort. The excuse that some people like it that way, is inapplicable. Cheap is cheap.
The food is very average and expensive for what it is. However, there are full kitchens in the rooms so cooking is an option. Do not expect 4 or 5 stars from the restaurants but, in all, the ambiance makes up for it and the overall relaxation one can experience will often leave you coming back another time in the future.

Pros:

La piscine chauffée et couverte, idéale avec les enfants, et pour profiter en avril quand il ne fait pas encore assez chaud. Le petit déjeuner buffet avec la terrasse superbe. La chambre était magnifique, très grande, très confort. Les enfants ont dormi sur le canapé-lit déplié, sans que cela ne réduise le confort de la chambre.

Cons:

Parfois un peu dur de se repérer dans l'hôtel (trois "blocs" avec des ascenseurs et des niveaux différents, dur de trouver la piscine le premier jour). Le repas du soir est un menu à la carte la majorité du temps, ce n'était pas très clair pour nous. Les repas étaient très bons, mais on aime les buffets.

Pros:

Upon arrival to the property the staff were very welcoming & João who shown us to our room was exceptional. His efforts to welcome you & talk you through every little detail that may help you during your stay was phenomenal. Nothing was too much effort, very professional, knowledgeable & kind man. Throughout our whole stay every member of staff we asked a question too was also attentive & very friendly & helpful.

In the x2 evenings we had the buffet style dinner. Great value for money with drinks included and great variety.
Breakfast was also a good choice

Cons:

We felt the property was dated for a 5 star. Felt it needed some TLC. Decking around pool was very loose, plaster missing off the walls in our room. Skirting boards were chipped & tatty.
The fridge in our room was also loose, when you opened the door the fridge nearly falls forward.
The breakfast (warm selection) was cold. The porridge, bacon & scrambled eggs
