Pros:

Swimming pool was a great extra
Bar was helpful
Staff were lovely
Parking was easy

Cons:

Rooms were very out dated carpet was something from the 70s
Breakfast the children were only allowed 3 items
The bedroom door broke and it became difficult to get out windows were very difficult to open
The room was very hot
No offer of WiFi at all
Quite difficult to find and lots of coaches for a small hotel there was a coach wash in the carpark that made it dangerous at times

Cons:

The smell of mould /damp so strong it made my child poorly.
The room was dirty and unclean to the point we left after 20mins of arriving with the hotel refusing a refund. The room itself was small and the bath room was exceptionally small.

Budget hotel in bournemouth
Pros:

The laguna hotel is a budget hotel trading at budget prices so can not be compared to higher costing 4* hotels nearby but still provides all our needs at a good price so can not be faulted

Cons:

Nothing to complain about other than drinks a bit expensive in bar but entertainment provided so perhaps it's just me being tight

Cons:

Basin in bathroom had hairs in from someone having a shave.
The carpet hadn't been hoovered.
The room was unbearably hot at night with no fan provided.

Pros:

The hotel was cheap, had a pool and was walking distance to the centre.
There was a tv in the room and tea and coffee making facilities.
The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable
Reception staff were friendly.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.but it smelt delicious.
The room was a good size for what we needed.

Cons:

As described, the hotel is very dated. This would be ok normally, but it came with other issues.
The walls are paper thin. I was woken at 4am by guests above us banging, and I could hear every word of their conversation - they may have been up early for an airport trip? If so, it would be better if these guests were placed away from guests not waking up this early.
The curtains in the room are light coloured which means that at this time of year, at 5am the sun comes through and after being woken by other guests early in the morning, I was unable to get back to sleep.
We were also above the main restaurant and the entertainment was loud but this didn't go on too late.
The showers are not electric. I was unable to get cold water to come out, only scalding hot. I had to go to reception and get help. The shower head also didn't fit the holder and this also needed repairing at the same time. These issues were fixed promptly.
The pool changing area was dirty and could benefit from more regular checks as we went in at 10am and they were not clean at this time.

as was only one night it was okay for what we needed.
Pros:

like the fact it had a pool, was close to were we needed to be and they had free parking

Cons:

the room cleaner swore at me after the guy at the fount desk said we could have an extra half hr in the room, along with everyone on our floor, she just walked in the room at half 10 and yelled for us to leave. room had an old smell, couldn’t unpack our things, shower was so slow in water pressure and leaked, pillows like sand bags. just very dated!

Perfect, don’t hesitate to book if you want a great and memorable stay
Pros:

Perfect hotel- wonderful facilities, amazing receptionist. Clean, peaceful, and a perfect location to explore different areas of Bournemouth for all types of holidays.

Only minor thing was the housekeeping team was slightly loud during the day- which is to be expected. I put a DND on my door, and staff were cleaning the room next door with the door open and I could hear everything and couldn’t get much rest which is what I used the hotel for really. I’m a housekeeper myself so I just mention it not as an issue, but perhaps to be a wee bit more mindful of guests resting if you are not sure they are within the nearby premises or not.

Receptionist was perfect and I cannot fault the hotel at all. The room was spectacular and the housekeepers did a perfect job. I would have personally paid more money for that room. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Good location and friendly staff

Cons:

Needs updating. Looks like it never left the 80's. Could feel the springs in the mattress. Everything looked tired and worn. Just needs a little love and renovation and it would be lovely.

Location good. Very friendly staff. Pool fab!
Pros:

The staff were fantastic really friendly and nothing was a problem. Pool was great really made a difference to our staff with young children. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked lovely.

Cons:

The hotel is dated. Carpet removed and a makeover needed but it was clean. I would stay again.
