Great place to stay to explore the area
Pros:

Loved the Viking room. The decor is all made by local artisans and the skylight roof meant you could watch the massive waterfalls from bed if you liked. The dining area building is also locally crafted and quite cool. Having breakfast included is helpful in Norway and there were plenty of choices and freshly baked bread.

Pros:

The property is located about 20 minutes before you get to Flam. The fjord view from the breakfast area is gorgeous! We stayed in the split cottage and it was cute clean and quaint! In the off-season there is only one restaurant open and it is quite expensive, but there is a convenient store within walking distance that sells grocery items.

Pros:

Very clean and beautiful themed facilities. Amazing staff and a great variety of local foods for breakfast. There was also a gift shop and 4 options for places to eat. It was a very cozy experience. Can't beat the location.

Cons:

It wasn't the best to walk between the main building and the building of the room in the rain.

Prettig hotel op een ongelooflijk mooie plek.
Pros:

De locatie was ongelofelijk mooi. Verder was het fijn dat er een keukenblokje was, en plek om de auto te parkeren, ontbijt was goed.

Amazing complex, room, facilities. Beautiful setting, lovely log fire in the bar area, easy to find right next to the pier

Cons:

During the day large numbers of bus and ferry passengers make it a little noisy but it was fantastic once they’d gone!
