Pros:

Dieses Hotel gefällt mir sehr gut, es ist in allen Bereichen, die ich sah sauber und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Schön ist auch die Sonnenterasse im angrenzendem Appartementhaus. Pizzeria, Bar, Leseraum, Fitnessbereich und Innenpool- alles vorhanden.
Immer wieder fällt mir im Carat Hotel die gute Begrüßung zum Frühstück auf. Das Personal in diesem Bereich ist sehr, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Buffet geht kaum zu toppen. Es wird bis zum Ende darauf geachtet, alle Speisen nachzulegen.

Cons:

Bei Ankunft gab es Probleme mit einem Tiefgaragenplatz. Der Mitarbeiter an der Reception ignorierte meine Buchung und war nicht hilfsbereit, bis eine andere Mitarbeiterin sich des Problems annahm und es löste.
In den letzten Jahren gelingt es mir nicht mehr, ein Zimmer ab 5. oder 6. Etage zu bekommen. Das ist sehr schade, weil es der Grund meines Besuchs im Carat Hotel ist, die Seebrücke, während des events Ostsee in Flammen, vom Balkon aus verfolgen zu können. Die unteren Etagen lassen leider den Blick nur auf das Feuerwerk in der Höhe zu und die Impressionen an der Wasseroberfläche gehen verloren.
Ich versuche 2027 noch einmal mein Glück und wenn es wieder nur ein Einzelzimmer bis Etage 4 wird, werde ich 2028 gerne wieder nach Grömitz reisen, jedoch mir eine andere Unterkunft suchen.

Balkon mit Meerblick. Super Frühstück. Man durfte auf dem Balkon rauchen.
Alle super freundlich. Gemütliche bar

Evtl könnte man an der Balkontür einen Griff anbringen damit die Tür von aussen zu geht.

Hotel können wir weiter empfehlen. Sehr gute Lage.
Pros:

Personal sehr zuvorkommend, Frühstück sehr gut. Sauberkeit der Zimmer sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht - einfach schön. Hotel liegt relativ zentral unmittelbar in Strandnähe (2 min).

Imposant mit traumhaften Ausblicken
Pros:

Das Hotel besticht durch seine beeindruckende Größe – wobei dies auch etwas überwältigend wirken kann. Dafür entschädigt der spektakuläre Blick auf die Ostsee vollends. Zimmer 902 ist ein Highlight: Das Einzelzimmer bietet Panoramablick auf See und Landseite zugleich. Der Balkon wird zur liebsten Rückzugsstätte.

Sauna und Pool sind großzügig dimensioniert und bieten auch bei schlechtem Wetter beste Erholung.

Fazit: Ein Hotel mit grandioser Lage und gemütlichen Wellnessbereichen – ideal für Ostsee-Fans.

Cons:

Das Freizeitangebot ist solide, wobei das Abendentertainment gerne moderner sein dürfte.
