We always stay here when in Oxnard and have a nice time, good location that feels safe
Pros:

Staff is great, rooms with balconies is our favorite

Overall a great location with friendly staff, free breakfast, free parking, and spacious rooms.
Pros:

The location of this place was perfect. My family was there for the Cowboys Training Camp. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with a hot tub and the room itself was very clean and spacious. The outdoor pool area and hot tub was very nice but often very crowded for my own personal preference.

Cons:

When I arrived, there entire system was down and they informed me that they were unable to check me in and did not know when they would be back up and running, but would give me a call. We decided to wait outside in the sitting area. It was about an hour later and my husband went in to check in on things and let them know that we (and our 4 kids) really needed to clean up as we had just came from the beach, and get our things in for an event that evening. They had us check in via booking confirmation and paper form. So I was a bit annoyed that they did not do this in the first place instead of making us wait.

Even though it’s undergoing an updating process, I wouldn’t stay there again.
Pros:

The breakfast selection was very good. Lots of choices, attractively arranged.

Cons:

The ice machine was not usable. The room configuration was not comfortable as the tv was not facing the bed or the couch and was not on a swivel so it could be seen. Very awkward! It had recently been redone but the color, or lack of made the room depressing. An overload of brown.

Pros:

Staff was friendly.

Cons:

We had the king suite bedroom and at night we couldn't even enjoy our room. The TV in the bedroom did not work. We called the front desk but bit was too late to send someone to look at it.

It worked but could have found much better value elsewhere

Good location, nice outdoor pool, parking lot not too full/crowded

Cons:

Hotel was under construction (tried to cancel because of this due to having a small baby, but hotel wouldn’t allow it and told us we needed to read the message on their website first), messy construction (countless nails on walkway floors, debris in lobby, etc), freezer was broken (brown ice coming from ice maker), breakfast quality sub-par…overall not good value for almost $300 a night
