A lovely two-night stay
Pros:

My husband and I stayed only two nights before traveling north, but we would happily return! Mathilde at the front desk welcomed us warmly and was a great help whenever we needed assistance with travel logistics or local recommendations. The breakfast included with the stay was excellent—a huge spread. The room was comfortable,
clean, and well-appointed. But perhaps most importantly, the hotel’s location makes getting anywhere in Oslo very easy, whether on foot, bus, tram, or metro—while taking in a more historical part of the city center.

Topnotch recommendation, perfect location
Pros:

This is a very eclectic and interesting hotel. My room was spacious and with everything I needed. The front desk persons were lovely and very helpful, breakfast was excellent and included fresh squeezed orange juice and any form of coffee drink available. Their gelato was excellent as well. There is an old, working theater behind the bar which I unfortunately was not able to enjoy, but I'm guessing it was charming. The gym they use is a bit of a walk in a different location, but well worth the effort.

For a £300 plus room per night, the room was disappointing. In UK the price should have been closer to £200.
Pros:

The location and a very comfy mattress

Cons:

Small room, basically decorated, not as expected as shown in the photos which show much more individual decor and generous rooms.

A gem of a hotel
Pros:

A gem of a hotel. In the center of things with very pleasant front desk staff, knowledgeable and friendly, delicious and satisfying breakfast and coffee at the ready. The beds are very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We would definitely return.
