No AC in a heat wave
Pros:

The hotel is located in the historic area and very convenient to shops, restaurants, the beautiful brick promenade and ferries to the islands. Staff is professional and friendly.

Cons:

Stresa was having high temperatures and the hotel AC stopped working. The first night it was cooler, but the second night wasn’t. Two nights of hot weather and no AC should have allowed for some sort of compensation such as a reduction in the overall hotel charge.

Can't complain
Pros:

The location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and spoke great english

Cons:

Everything was absolutely fine, if I'm being picky though: there was no air con (we had the most basic room though!) and it was very hot! Breakfast was basic but was still absolutely fine so can't really complain!

sehr gutes Frühstück.
Ausserordentlich netter Empfang.
Konnten das Gepäck am Abreisetag im Hotel einstellen und erst am Abend vor der Abreise abholen.
