Location room and reception

Cons:

Steak was tough even though not overcooked
Understand the hotel supports local college and uses the student's as placement

Miserabler Service beim Abendessen und Frühstück. Der Teppich im Zimmer hat gestunken ( Feuchtigkeit?)

Voldoet zeker aan verwachtingen.
Pros:

Prachtige locatie om tot rust te komen. Mooie ruime authentieke kamer. Eten halfpension was van prima niveau. Zwembad met bedjes en handdoeken ook prima voor elkaar. Lac de Bourget dicht bij. Personeel erg vriendelijk.

Wir waren zum 3. Mal da, war schon mal besser
Cons:

Wir haben 3 Stunden(!)auf das Diner gewartet und dann kam das Hauptgericht vor der Vorspeise. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Küche hatte an diesen Abend anscheinend ein Problem.

Room quaint but small and aircon unit had intermittent noise which disturbed our sleep

Decent but manage your expectations
Pros:

Overall good stay. Food was lovely. Rooms are nice and big. Gym was okay compared to other hotel gyms in area. Staff helpful when prompted but not overly proactive.

Cons:

Service for dinner our first night was incredibly slow. There was a wedding on so perhaps that affected. It took three hours for three courses and they forgot our wine. The next night it was a LOT better. Staff generally try to help but our welcome was a little flat, no explanation of facilities etc. Breakfast they ran out of bread and pastries but as soon as pointed out the server rectified. Overall people individually doing their best but overall service was a little off for the quality of the place. It didn’t seem like anyone was in charge. There were also lots of dirty plates and glasses around the property throughout our stay which isn’t what you expect for the type of venue. We went to bar wanting a drink a couple times and nobody about. Just seemed like more attention to detail is needed service wise.
