The Goldener Hirsch is a must stay if you are staying in Rothenburg!
Pros:

This hotel is beautiful! The view from our room was breathtaking. We came back from our vacation with so many pictures and videos of just the view. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The hotel decor is done so well and there are many beautiful sitting rooms. They do have parking and it’s a nice size lot about a 2 minute walk straight up the street from hotel

Pros:

I had a lovely stay in this charming hotel, with a spacious and comfortable room offering a beautiful view over the Tauber Valley. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to enjoy a good night’s sleep.
The staff were courteous, welcoming and ready to help.
The breakfast was hearty and satisfying. I particularly appreciated the charming retro-style table setting and the character of the dining room. The panoramic view over the valley while having breakfast was a real highlight and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful setting, with comfortable accommodation.

La ubicación es inmejorable, en la parte más bonita y espectacular de la ciudad. El hotel tiene encanto y es cómodo con su ascensor. Magnífica la posibilidad de aparcar en un patio amplio a 50 m. por un coste muy razonable (11 €). Buen desayuno.

Cons:

Keine Bar vorhanden, obwohl sie auf Booking angegeben ist. Wenn man etwas später zum Frühstücken kam, wurde nicht mehr aufgefüllt bzw. es waren keine Brötchen mehr da.

Beautiful building with great potential but totally dilapidated and unloved - never again!
Pros:

It is a beautiful old building with immense potential for an exceptional hotel! We were allowed to store our baggage before check in. The lady that did the check-out was the only kind and helpful person in sight, but sadly overworked. Lovely view out of the dining room.

Cons:

We booked a room with view into the valley and got a room with a view to the inside wall! The receptionist was irritable and perfuntionary in her greeting. The furniture in the room was tasteless and in conflicting colours and styles. It felt like a storage room! The breakfast was boring and uninspired and most platters and foods were empty when we got there at 7:55.

Pros:

Zentral und doch ruhig gelegen.Stellplatz für das Auto in der Nähe. Schön eingerichtet.

Cons:

Wir durften den Hund leider nicht zum frühstücken mitnehmen und haben in der Empfangshalle gefrühstückt.
