A comfortable hotel with a friendly ambiance, within a 1/2-hour walk of the center & other fun areas
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our stuff there before check-in and after check-out, and to put a couple things in the fridge. They quickly resolved a bed issue (ensuring we had the reserved three separate beds, by dividing two that were joined and re-sheeting them as needed). Truly a comfortable place with a good overall feel to it. The area seemed like it would have been fun to explore more.

Cons:

In a summer heat wave, be aware that there is no air conditioning (as of July 2026) but there are fans. We got one fan for the room. Not necessarily a problem, but something to be aware of. Also, any extra towels should be requested during the day or ahead of time, the reception does not have access to towels when housekeeping isn't there.

La chambre était spacieuse et une grande garde robe pour les vêtements.

Cons:

Un petit déjeuner vraiment précaire. Il fallait se battre pour avoir un croissant. La propreté était juste de surface. Il y avait une brosse de toilette remplie de selles à la salle de bain.

Friendly staff, clealiness could use some work; a bit of a walk to train station.

Nice and friendly staff. I was able to check in early. Fans in the room were helpful. Could hear some street noice but overall was pretty quiet.

Cons:

Lots of dust on top of bathroom door frame. Shower set up was a little strange and easy to get water all over floor. A couple extra towels would have been nice.
