A Beautiful Escape with Thoughtful Service

Landgoed De Holtweijde is a fantastic place to escape from a busy life and simply slow down for a while. The property is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, making it a wonderful setting for a relaxing stay.

The restaurant was definitely one of the highlights. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the team had clearly paid attention to the small details. Everyone seemed to know about it, and those personal touches made the celebration feel genuinely special and very touching. The service overall was warm and thoughtful.

There are a few things that could be improved. Breakfast felt a little hectic during our stay, and some items were not refreshed as quickly as they could have been. I was also surprised that guests are expected to get their own coffee from the machine. At this level of establishment, I would expect coffee to be served at the table.

That said, these points did not take away from the overall experience. It’s a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, and a great option if you’re looking to get away from the busyness of everyday life. We enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Cons:

The indoor swimming pool was another disappointment, as the water was very cold and not particularly inviting.

Heerlijke locatie, erg sfeervol maar helaas hele zachte bedden.
Pros:

De locatie en alle faciliteiten zijn geweldig. De kamers zijn sfeervol en ruim. Het restaurant is ook erg goed voor zowel het diner als het ontbijt.

Cons:

De bedden zijn echt veel te zacht. Dat vinden wij erg jammer omdat we het hotel echt heerlijk vinden. Ook de badkamers zijn gedateerd. Alleen simpele witte tegels.

Fijn verblijf!
Pros:

Heerlijke locatie. Heel rustig en een goed bed. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten.

Cons:

Het was een beetje sober. Het voelde een beetje outdated aan. Alles deed het wel goed!
