The front desk is terrific. They are very responsive and eager to help.
The room was great and well appointed.
Benjamin, the bartender was the only downside of the entire experience. He may have had a bad day.
We covered the city in two days. A must see is the Joan of Arc museum. An audio tour is a must.
A fabulous, iconic hotel in an unbeatable location. Great facilities. Lovely staff. A superb hotels
Directions about access to the hotel by car could be a little clearer.
This was built hundreds of years ago and is another great building of French architecture

Trop peu de placard ds la chambre
Great location and good facilities
No milk in room for tea

The location, the service, the breakfast, the excellent Marriott beds
For some reason the decoration did not fit the building. The shower was so so, no ventilation in the bathroom.
Très bel accueil par le personnel.
Lit confortable.
The hotel is located right in the center of Rouen, yet access is much easier than one might imagine. The valet service area is very clearly marked, immediately beyond the driveway barrier. The rooms are spread across different buildings, and some of them are impossible to find without guidance — which only adds to the charm of the place.
Because of its location on a square lined with restaurants, it can be noisy at night. On the other hand, the main landmarks — including the cathedral, the abbey, and the art gallery — are all within a short walking distance.
The breakfast, however, detracts from the overall impression of the stay. The dining room is crowded and lacks charm, while the selection and presentation of the food are rather poor.
What a jewel of a hotel. The photo of the outside gives you a hint of what is insidte, however, until you see the hotel from the outside and inside, photographs cannot do it justice. The staff is incredibly accomodating and they are ready to help in any way. Our room was beautiful, the location was amazing and walkable to everything in the city. If you love art, from the moment your walk into this gorgeous hotel, you will be surrounded by incredible art. This hotel warrants every star it has received. You will not be disappointed if you stay there. On a side note, my wife and I rented a car in Bayeux and took a day trip to Entretat. If you have a chance, go there. The seaside cliffs are amazing and if parts of the cliffs look like a Monet painting, it is because some of his iconic paintings were of those cliffs. Also, while in Etretat, you MUST visit the Gardens. You will be amazed. Getting back to Hotel de Bourgtheroude, I want to thank the staff for making our stay so wonderful.
