Elegance and luxury in central Rouen
Pros:

The room and the bathroom we had were very spacious and elegant. The building is historic with sympathetic renovations. The staff are very helpful and the facilities excellent. And they have valet parking. It is centrally located, ideal for tourists who can walk to the sights.

Cons:

The storage in the hallway to the room looked quite cheap compared to the room itself and did not offer enough space..

Chambre a disposition à 17 heures

Chambre initiale dont le fenêtres ne s’ouvrent pas

Es war schön aber nicht mehr so gut wie beim letzten Mal.
Pros:

Der Palast ist ein Traum, die Lage perfekt. Der Parkservice war perfekt. Das Zimmer sollte mal renoviert werden, die ziemlich laute klassische Musik beim Frühstück ist eher nervig. Es gab eine Hochzeit im Haus, vielleicht war es deshalb eher hektisch und nicht so aufmerksam wie wir es kennen.

Das Zimmer. Das etwas hektische Frühstück mit lauter Musik.

Palazzo bellissimo, camera ampia, ottima colazione, piscina in cui fare una bella nuotata con la canicola che c’è.

Cons:

L’aria condizionata gelida nella hall, da farsi venire un coccolone in questi giorni di canicola. Ma si sa che é una cosa americana.

Décevant...
Pros:

Accueil du personnel - la piscine spacieuse et le spa vraiment agréable - la literie excellente - Le petit déjeuner (qualité, variété, quantité) au standard d'un 5* - Propreté - Situation géographique

Cons:

1/ Le bar, atroce ! Avec une soirée "sponsorisée" le soir du 25/06, dans un brouhaha indescriptible et avec une musique de centre commercial intrusive, tonitruante ! On aurait dit la salle de rassemblement avant excursion d'un village du Club Med bas de gamme, là où on attend d'un établissement tel que le vôtre, au moins le luxe et le calme, sinon la volupté. Simple, j'y avais rendez-vous, j'ai relocalisé, sans évidemment prendre de consommation... Ne parlons pas non plus du décor de la salle du petit déjeuner, c'est ici également simple, c’est un buffet de la gare...

2/ La chambre, d'une décoration désuète (hôtel de famille 2*, à la déco de récupération, dans une province perdue), où les prises sont si rares qu'il faut choisir entre recharger son portable ou utiliser la machine à café. Pas d'emplacement pour poser la valise sinon une seule étagère en haut d'un placard - Une TV bas de gamme (LG), même pas fixée au mur. Donc pas de place pour un bureau ! Nul ! (Je précise pourtant, c'était une chambre de 30 m² avec vue sur la ville, donc pas de catégorie inférieure)

Good hotel located in prime central Rouen.
Pros:

High end hotel located in centre of Rouen with amazing entrance in renaissance palace. Very good pool and spa facilities. Good sized room.

Cons:

Poor lighting in bathroom. Panel fixed across window to block view which was presumably poor. Expensive breakfast and parking.

部屋から景色が残念だった。
Pros:

素晴らしい建物！外観に感動した。
清潔感があり、クーラーもしっかり効いていて快適に体を休ませる事が出来た。
コーヒーやフィルターを通された飲み水も飲めて、暑い夜に助かった。
シャンプーやボディーソープもとても良い香りで気に入ったので購入した。

Cons:

案内された部屋は、良い位置の部屋ではなかった。窓からの景色がホテルの裏側で最悪。
サイトで見ていた窓からの景色とは全く異なり、とても気分が落ち込んだ…
だからカーテンは開けなかった。
フロントスタッフは英語も話せて
とても感じが良い人ばかりだが、
星付きホテルのフロントスタッフにしては 仕事ぶりがぎこちなくプロらしくない人もいたように感じた。

Staff and location were wonderful but frankly not worth the price.
Pros:

It’s location in the city centre and in a historical building

Cons:

Couldn’t believe that we had to kneel in the bath to shower and that there was no separate shower cubicle. Attention to detail was poor with curtains not fully hung on hooks, even after requesting these to be attended to.

Eine gute Zeit!
Pros:

Frühstück war in Ordnung.
Die Lage super! Das Schwimmbad war sehr schön!

Cons:

Beim Check In bekamen wir zunächst ein sehr spartanisches Zimmer. Es hatte faktisch kein Fenster.
Gebucht hat wir ein gehobenes Zimmer mit Blick in die Stadt! Nach dem wir uns beschwert hatten, bekamen wir das richtige Zimmer. Entschuldigt hat sich niemand.
