Alles was redelijk acceptabel, geen grote luxe, maar verzorgd

Pros:

this is a basic cheap older property, but with everything necessary for a short stay and friendly staff

Cons:

bedroom very hot from heatwave, a large fan was supplied to at least circulate the air. parking limited on site, but huge free parking just down the street

It was OK, but we wouldn't come back.
Pros:

Staff was really kind and helpful.

Cons:

Maintenance of hotel, cleanliness of the main corridor and our bathroom, super narrow space between beds and yable with kettle (wouldn't recommend to guest with child), dirty window, questionable content of a shampoo bottle.

Overall very happy, does need improvements in places, would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Easy to find, room was clean with all facilities needed.

Cons:

Unable to open blind for window as broken, temperature of room too hot (not their fault due to weather) but a fan was in room.

Basic, hot & disappointing. Would not stay again

Beds were comfortable

Cons:

En-suite was very narrow. Window only opened small amount so room very hot & stifling. Stairwells & rooms appeared grubby and outdated.

Keep going and find a travel lodge !!!!

Bedroom clean. Clea sheets.

Cons:

Bedroom 3rd floor, difficult after major op !
Bar unused for some time ! No white wine. One bottle of red looked opened for some time ! Of all beer taps , only one working. Tasted like pipes hadn't been cleaned for some time !! No evening entertainment as advertised. No one around to help with bags in morning , No food on site , not even crisps , despite frontage claiming hotel and restaurant !!! Not a good experience !!

Very disappointed, didn't live to expectations from advert.
Pros:

The room was clean. All we needed was a bed for one night as we travelled through.

Cons:

The outside wall clearly states hotel and restaurant. But there was no food available on the premises.
The bar had 5 beer taps , of which only one was operational and lager tasted like it had been in pipes for some time.
No white wine, only a quarter bottle of opened red, which looked like it had been opened for some days.
They advertised evening entertainment, but there was no evidence of that !
Arrived back at 10 pm for a night drink but bar all locked up and no one around.
All in all very disappointed, the photos and reviews give a totally distorted view of this hotel. .

Pros:

Single room was small but adequate for my (one night) needs , bed was comfortable and bedding was clean, shower room was very small and a bit difficult to use.
The room appeared to have been repainted and looked smart and clean.

Clean & comfortable in nice location for overnight stay
Pros:

It was clean & comfortable, nice location in Rothwell which is a nice small market town. It was central in the town with plenty of free parking nearby. Very good value for money.

Cons:

Reception welcome is basic but ok for we paid.
