Lovely and quiet

Cons:

Wasn’t a lot to do, it seems like a place for older generation rather than young people, the location is beautiful, the place could just do with a little update

A pleasant stay
Pros:

A nice location in the countryside.
Plenty of parking.
Reception staff very pleasant.
Vending machine onsite, in case you need something and don't fancy driving back into town.
Hotel has a lift.
Bed is very comfortable and room is clean.
Plenty of hot water.
Reasonably priced

Cons:

The hairdryer. It looked like a wall-mounted model that had now been bundled into a drawer, bracket and all (see photo). It wasn't the nicest to use. The end fell off the curtain rail when I tried to close the curtains. These are very minor quibbles and easily remedied.
The cooked breakfast was a bit disappointing, especially the rashers. The breakfast staff weren't as friendly as the reception staff. I had to go in search of someone to give me a menu and got the impression I was inconveniencing them.
It isn't an issue for me but the toilet in the ensuite is set nearer to the floor than your average one. It might be something to be aware of for guests with mobility issues.

Le prix, quasiment 600€ la nuit! A ce prix on s’attend à du luxe ce qui n’étais pas le cas. La douche de notre chambre était cassée, le mobilier vieillissant, des traces d’usure un peu partout. Il y avait même un trou dans le mur effectué à la scie cloche. Le bassin extérieur était dans un état pitoyable. Des câbles électrique partout à on intérieur avec des boîte de chips….

Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying here!
Pros:

Set in stunning countryside the views were gorgeous. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a lovely dinner and sat outside on the terrace with an evening drink. Room was very comfortable and clean. Had a wonderful stay here!

A true rural Ireland experience.
Pros:

A true rural Ireland experience. Such a relaxing atmosphere , friendly staff, a great view of the countryside and Croagh Patrick. It was exceptional hot weather and the room was lovely and cool. I had a simple breakfast and the waitress didn't charge the full price. I plan to return again.
