Stayed at the County Hotel for one night before starting the John Muir Way
Pros:

Room was nice and clean and the Tea / coffee facilities in the room came in useful as we arrived at 8pm. Allowed to store our bikes is a lockable secure area at the rear of the hotel.

Good location for stopping on the way to Oban

Cons:

Lights on corridors and staircases not on initially in the morning which made it difficult for my elderly parents when we were going down for breakfast. Someone else mentioned this at breakfast and the staff sorted it out.
Toilet in room 1 made a loud noise after each flush.

Needs full disclosure, Vegetarian only breakfast options and no bar. It's a guesthouse.
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

No bar. Vegetarian only options for breakfast, this had to be chosen night before and a time booked. I had a cheese and mushroom toastie and it was made with the lowest quality white bread and cheap orange cheese. The coffee was the weakest I have ever been served.
If it was clear on your site that there was no bar and vegetarian only breakfast we would never have booked this hotel.

Pros:

The bedroom we stayed in was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. For breakfast I recommend the pancakes with the fruit and cream. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Absolute Empfehlung!
Pros:

Das Ambiente im Hotel ist wie in einem Rosamunde Pilcher Film, einfach „Wow“.
Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und herzlich begrüßt. Die Zimmer sind grossartig und supersauber. Frühstück und Abendessen top. Absolute Empfehlung.
