Important information:

Please note that the center of Hallstatt is a car-free zone. You need to park your car on the P1 parking outside the town, which can be reached through a tunnel. Additional costs apply (please see Parking Facilities).

A shuttle service is provided for guests who park at and hold a valid ticket for P1 parking lot. It is free of charge and only available on arrival and departure.

Please note that it cannot be guaranteed in which of the 3 historic buildings you will be accommodated, because requests for a specific building are subject to availability. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler have no elevator. They are a 3- to 5-minute walk away from the main building, where the breakfast room and other facilities can be found.

Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed in guestrooms. A penalty fee of EUR 60 per incident will be charged.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Pros:

Beautiful view for the lake.

Cons:

The hotel itself is quite nice, but the overall experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue is the parking. Having to leave your car about 1.5 km away from the hotel and walk through the entire town with large, heavy suitcases is extremely inconvenient. Although there is a shuttle service every 30 minutes, we waited but it never arrived. We politely asked several times if we could at least drive to the hotel for a few minutes to unload our luggage, but every request was refused. No assistance with transporting our bags was offered.
The room furniture is quite old and could use an update. The bathroom is also poorly designed, as the glass shower screen is far too small, causing water to splash all over the floor every time you take a shower. Another major issue was the water pressure and temperature, which constantly changed from very hot to very cold, making it difficult to shower comfortably.

Overall, the hotel has potential, but these issues significantly affected our stay.

Awesome
Pros:

The hotel is near the most popular photo point. We could enjoy the wonderful view of the lake in our room. The staff were nice and they offered us great tourist information and we had an amazing experience in Hallstatt.

Отличный комфортный отель
Pros:

Этот отель очень понравился. Он старом здании, но в этом городке все здания старинные. Наш номер был в основном корпусе. Отличный ресторан, где вечером вкусно поужинали, отличное меню, всё вкусно приготовлено и очень приятное обслуживание, оплата картой, что в этом городке далеко не везде. Автомобиль оставили на парковке номер 1, цена за сутки 20 евро с оплатой в кассе стоянки при выезде. От парковки следует бесплатный шаттл до центра, практически до самого отеля. На обратный путь на ресепшене нам забронировали места в этом шаттле, забрали прямо от двери.
Имейте в виду, что у отеля три корпуса на расстоянии около 100 метров друг от друга, а стойка регистрации и ресторан для завтрака есть только в главном корпусе. Из других корпусов нужно идти на завтрак в главный. Мы при бронировании попросили заселить нас в главный корпус и нашу просьбу любезно удовлетворили.
В целом, впечатления от отеля самые приятные. Всем рекомендую!
