Important information:

Please note that the center of Hallstatt is a car-free zone. You need to park your car on the P1 parking outside the town, which can be reached through a tunnel. Additional costs apply (please see Parking Facilities).

A shuttle service is provided for guests who park at and hold a valid ticket for P1 parking lot. It is free of charge and only available on arrival and departure.

Please note that it cannot be guaranteed in which of the 3 historic buildings you will be accommodated, because requests for a specific building are subject to availability. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler have no elevator. They are a 3- to 5-minute walk away from the main building, where the breakfast room and other facilities can be found.

Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed in guestrooms. A penalty fee of EUR 60 per incident will be charged.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Good hotel..amazing view
Pros:

Great location and amazing view! We specifically booked the Lakeview room in the main building. . Breakfast was good and the food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the risotto.
The family rom we had booked was large and very comfortable.

Cons:

The rooms, especially the bathroom is old and dated. There were a few bugs in the room. The floor was sticky

Views are great, stay in the main hotel

Cons:

Walk from main hotel when staying in the stoker house. Felt remote from the actual hotel. Staff looked us up and down when heading to dinner ( were respectfully dressed) ended up leaving without having the dinner as we felt so disrespected. Feel you pay for the location and view more than service and room quality.

Hotel and personnel in need of a refresh!!!
Pros:

Horrible. Worst hotel ever. I cannot find one nice thing to say. Overcrowded, outdated dilapidated hotel needing a refresh.

DO NOT go to HALSTATT or stay at this hotel! The last time I went to a hotel or place this crowded exhausting was my trip to Disneyland. OMG! Don’t do it.

Rooms- tired, outdated

Service- horrible , terrifying, not experienced or trained in the industry- it’s a joke!

Location- only if you like lots of people, long wait times, non experienced personnel and bad food. You would enjoy Burger King much better.

NÃO É UM HOTEL A BEIRA LAGO... 2/3 DE SEUS HOSPEDES FICAM EM OUTRO LOCAL.
Pros:

Equipe prestativa, principalmente Sofia e Maria que nos atenderam com muita simpatia.

Cons:

O Hotel se vende como beira lago e ao lado da igreja, simbolo de Hallstat, porem utiliza outras acomodações para acomodar seu hospedes. Mostra uma foto muito bem localizado, mas oferece acomodações distantes da sua sede. Não é um padrão correto. Mais facil buscar um hotel mais barato ou um airbnb que apresente verdade em suas fotos. Viajei muito por esta estadia, e quando cheguei, foi uma decepção. Muita dificuldade em ser atendido, pela distancia existente ate o predio central e se chover então, dificulta tudo, muito mais! O transfer tambem não ajuda os hospedes, mantendo exigencias e definições que impedem sua utilização.

Local bonito, atendimento ruim.
Pros:

O tamanho e conforto do quarto é realmente muito bom, assim como o banheiro que é grande e excelente. A localização é muito boa, melhor área.

Cons:

O atendimento, quase que no geral, muito ruim. Com exceção da recepcionista Carla (pessoa formidável), que nos apoiou cordialmente desde a chegada, todos os outros funcionários, em especial do restaurante, são brutos (vê-se que são poucos e atuam sobrecarregados). O restaurante é pequeno e não comporta todos os hospedes no café da manhã e outras refeições, gerando grandes transtornos, fecha cedo (como tudo na cidade). Um dos banheiros da suíte que pegamos estava sujo. Colchão e travesseiros muito moles. Wi-Fi muito ruim, praticamente não funciona em todo o hotel e é limitado. Na opção de reserva cita que possui estacionamento, mas não há, indicam um estacionamento aberto e pago em outro local (mais de 1km), há um transporte (gratuito) que leva os hospedes até próximo ao hotel (isso é informado somente após a reserva).

The stay was generally pleasant. There was initially an issue with the cleanliness of the room, but the reception staff handled it professionally and resolved it quickly.

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay.

However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication after check-out. I accidentally left behind an earring and contacted the hotel to inquire about it, but unfortunately, I never received a response. Better follow-up with guests regarding lost items would greatly improve the overall experience
