Important information:

Please note that the center of Hallstatt is a car-free zone. You need to park your car on the P1 parking outside the town, which can be reached through a tunnel. Additional costs apply (please see Parking Facilities).

A shuttle service is provided for guests who park at and hold a valid ticket for P1 parking lot. It is free of charge and only available on arrival and departure.

Please note that it cannot be guaranteed in which of the 3 historic buildings you will be accommodated, because requests for a specific building are subject to availability. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler have no elevator. They are a 3- to 5-minute walk away from the main building, where the breakfast room and other facilities can be found.

Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed in guestrooms. A penalty fee of EUR 60 per incident will be charged.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Pros:

Dank des netten Herrn an der Rezeption konnten wir im Haupthaus schlafen und wir hatten auch noch mehr Platz. Gutes Frühstück, dem Zimmer im Zentrum der Stadt und der fleißigen Mitarbeiter war es ein gelungener Kurzurlaub.

My stay was ruined by the unprofessional staff and lack of travel assistance from bus stop to hotel.
Pros:

The lake and village around.

Cons:

Location of hotel is worst in terms of transportation. The hotelier provides no assistance for travelling from the bus stop/taxi stop to the hotel which is around 300 - 400 m. It rather makes you to be in an embarrassing situation pulling your luggage through the market place, etc. It is indeed very difficult to reach the hotel. The staff too do not provide any assistance to reach the bus stop/taxi stop. Basically, you are at your own after unnecessarily spending a hefty amount. This Heritage Hotel Hallstatt is a one time visit hotel, you will never like to return here. You may find better options in Hallstatt instead of Heritage Hotel Hallstatt and save your money and temper both !!!

Romantic and comfortable spot in Hallstatt.
Pros:

Great view, quiet even during the day, comfortable bed, and close to everything in Hallstatt. Shower was large and had good water pressure.

Cons:

Lots of steps but there is staff to help with the bags.

Pros:

The rooms are spacious and luxurious. It has a pretty nice view of the lake.

Cons:

The balconies are too close together and felt no privacy when we want to enjoy the view at the balcony. It’s like we are watching a show together. The staff at check in was not rude but didn’t made us feel welcomed.
