perfect location for discovering Cartagena

A perfect location for anyone wanting to experience Cartagena at night. It is right in the heart of the "wild" city center, less than five minutes from Plaza de la Aduana. Yet, the moment you step through the hotel doors, you find yourself in a different world—a quiet, restful haven. The rooms, featuring a beautiful colonial style, are cool and dark, offering exactly the kind of relaxation needed after long, hot days and equally hot nights.

Hotel muy céntrico en el corazón de Cartagena

Excelente ubicación dentro de la ciudad amurallada, a un paso de todos los lugares de interés. El desayuno es regular, podrían brindar mejor pan, ya que era industrial y no artesanal ni fresco, por lo demás estaba rico y medianamente variado. Las instalaciones en general son bonitas, coloniales, pero lamentablemente el ascensor estaba malogrado y nos dieron una habitación en el quinto piso! la terraza tiene buena vista, bonita decoración y bar, además cuenta con jacuzzi al aire libre. El personal de la recepción es muy amable.

Cons:

La habitación que nos dieron era pequeña y la cama resultó muy dura, tanto que a mi esposa le quedó doliendo la cadera por varios días. Una de las razones por la que escogimos este hotel fue que contaba con ascensor, sin embargo, durante toda nuestra estancia no lo arreglaron y con el calor de Cartagena, subir y bajar las escaleras fue sofocante. En las noches la calle se vuelve un poco peligrosa por la cantidad de gente, comercio y movimiento, incluso el ruido de las discotecas llegaba a la habitación.

Alojamiento en pleno centro histórico de Cartagena, puedes ir andando a todos los lugares del casco histórico y Gestsemaní. La habitación con el aire acondicionado puesto todo el día, cosa que se agradece, ya que la temperatura en Cartagena es muy alta. La habitación era amplia y se podía estar cómodo.

Pros:

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. El diseño es muy acogedor. Las habitaciones son frescas y cómodas y cuentan con aire acondicionado que es sumamente necesario. Los muchachos de recepción muy atentos y serviciales.

Cons:

Que no funcionara el ascensor y no lo hubiesen avisado. Que el desayuno no abra completo hasta 7.30 cuando los tours parten a las 8.

Si viajas en familia y quieres comodidad, este no es el lugar. Si viajas con amigos y lo que buscas es un lugar céntrico

Pros:

O hotel é ótimo: localização, climatização do quarto, camas e chuveiros confortáveis, atenção dos funcionários. Café da manhã razoável. Café, água e chá disponíveis durante todo o dia. Recomendo!

Cons:

O único inconveniente foi que o elevador não estava funcionando. Fiquei no 3º andar e houve esse pequeno detalhe de carregar as malas e subir e descer mais de 1x ao dia para chegar ao quarto.
