Easy check in, able to drop off bags early, staff are very accommodating. Room is as described, cute little ducky in the washroom, Lounge is a bonus with all the free drinks and hot miso. There was manga corner, although didn't get to it but it was nice to have, as well as the gaming station. The gachapon was fun too!
None really - it is on the smaller space, but that was expected and was already noted from the beginning. If you're looking for budget-friendly, excellent location - the space isn't a deal breaker at all.
The location was excellent and the staff were warm, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. They made everything easy for us so in that way was an ideal first hotel experience for our trip.
The room was incredibly small, even compared to other hotels we stayed at in Osaka and Kyoto at similar price points. This would have been OK if there was anywhere to store our luggage or put clothes away. We wound up living out of, and stepping in/over/around our suitcases for a little over a week.
It was very clean, we could adapt the ac to our needs and the staff was very kind.
It was too cold in the halls. Too much AC, difference of temperature with outside was too much.
Very nice hotel, nice rooms , good lounge and causy environment
Great location! It was a 5 min walk to Sunshine City (specifically Chiikawa Park) and 1 min to a 7-Eleven. The lobby is on the B1 level where there were game consoles available to play for free. The 1st floor had a lounge (it was more like a dining area with tables and chairs) with complimentary drinks, a microwave and utensils along with a food vending machine. There were multiple washing machines and while I was doing laundry, none of the others were in use. The room wasn’t big but typical size for Japan but for the convenient location, you can’t beat it!
The breaker blew in the middle of the night so we lost AC for a period and it was extremely hot and humid for a bit. But the hotel staff dealt with it quickly and apologized profusely about it.
