Staff very friendly and efficient. Well stocked bar. Large very tasty breakfast.
Hotel was pretty full, so no parking on site despite the car park being quite large.

The shower was shocking. Mould all over the shower and the drain was clogged, dirty water settled around my ankles inside the shower. I didn't ask to be moved as was only there for one night,

Service at breakfast was not good when we were in a hurry. We had to order toast 3 times before it came. We were in a hurry so this mattered to us.
Cheap beds but they were acceptable.
Very convenient for Portmierion and very reasonably priced. Very good breakfast and restaurant with both western and Indian menus. We tried both, excellent! Also and very important is the car park which is free. Shops are nearby and so is the castle and beach (a stony beach) All in all good value for money in a good location with very nice staff.

Good location, clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Nothing about the property itself, however some of the guests ( a group of older gentleman who just wanted to get to their golf course) were rude at breakfast time, letting themselves into the dinning area in front of us before staff were ready.
