Pros:

Apartment was clean, easy accessible and family friendly. Walking distance from the Kirra Beach hotel, a number of coffee shops, and the beach. Staff were friendly and easy to contact if needed.

Overpriced and under quality, but great location.
Pros:

Location was great, close to coffee and pub, short walk to beach.

Cons:

The smell of bleach when we arrived was so strong we had to leave the apartment for a couple of hours. Was very expensive for the quality, could have stayed somewhere else better. Light from neighbours was annoying at night.

When visiting Coolangatta, we wouldn't stay anywhere other than Kirra Palms Apartments.
Pros:

The Kirra Palms apartment was in the perfect location. An easy walk to all facilities including the town centre with supermarket. Spoilt for choice with coffee shops & a multitude of eating venues, Kirra Beach Hotel & the very lovely Siblings restaruant all within 5 minutes walk. We were not reliant on transport, that said the bus was 2 minutes walk with services to the airport, just two stops (not a plane to be heard) & an easy trip to the Gold Coast.
Our apartment was bright, clean & well appointed. Everything needed for a great stay was available including very comfortable beds. The pool/spa was very inviting & well maintained with plenty of seating & bathroom facilities.
The staff member we delt with over our stay was friendly & happy to assist with any requests.
All up this was yet another great stay at Kirra Palms Apartments & we would highly recommend the facility to others looking for an enjoyable stay in Kirra Beach Coolangatta.

There was nothing we didn't like about our apartment and facilities.

Don't use these appartments for work trips or arrive on weekends or public holidays.
Pros:

If you were visiting Kirra for a 1960s family holiday with kids, the "upgraded" family apartment is quite roomy and in a good location near the beach.

Cons:

The Wi Fi was non-existent - which seriously impacted the work trip (had to pay to go to a nearby Business Hub just to get a signal and couldn't work in the evening). They also have no idea about cyber security - insisting that copies of important IDs (passport and driver's licence) be emailed to them(?!), as they have no staff on duty weekends or public holidays. Was only informed of this AFTER I had paid - so couldn't cancel the booking.

Nice enough for short stays or just somewhere to sleep, but look elsewhere for comfort.
Pros:

The location is awesome. Got told that we could check in early which was nice, and the initial staff we were in communication with were kind and informative. Check in process after hours is easy and lots of information was provided.

Cons:

Arriving at the apartment I don't think we were alerted that we were top floor and the amount of stairs.

Apartment is more dated than it looks online. Paint peeling, blinds old and difficult to adjust, just really rundown. Location is excellent but the sole airconditioning unit in the apartment burrs every 12 seconds loudly like a coffee machine starting, even when the unit was off.

It only stopped doing this on the day we left after 2 nights there. Very disappointing experience alerting staff to it. Called to register the concerning noise, was offered no solutions, and was hung up on mid sentence after being told nothing could be done over the weekend. I see comments on booking.com saying that if there are issues, guests could be moved etc. but we weren't given a single solution. Maybe heads up that if you register a complaint while staying, solutions will only be provided in retrospect.
