Please note construction of a high rise residential building has commenced on one of the exterior boundaries of the resort complex. Rooms in the direct vicinity of this boundary may be impacted by an increase in noise levels between the hours of 06:30 -18:30, Monday to Saturday. During this time resort staff will do their best in meeting any guest requests in allocating away from the affected areas. Please note that your payments will be processed by the Mantra Group/SAMARAD; this will appear on your bank statement as Peppers/Mantra/BFree Surfers Paradise. It was great place to stay and we would definitely return to stay when we are back in gold coast.
Pros:

Location is excellent, a short walk to the beach, our unit was just behind pool so we could sit in the back yard and enjoy while kids could enjoy at pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

we liked everything except the bathroom doors were not getting locked from inside, it was only a problem due to our young children running around, and we could not look the bathrooms from inside when using toilet or having shower.

Pros:

I’ve always love it at Diamond beach, haven been coming here since I was a child. The pool and spa and location are favourites! And great location. 5 mins walk to Pacific Fair and 3 mins in the other direction to the beach

Cons:

Unfortunately, our apartment, and my parents apartment were filthy.
I had to go out and buy disinfectant wipes as they didn’t even have anything for me to clean.
I spent a lot of time wiping down walls and surfaces and certainly left it a lot cleaner than it was when we arrived.

My parents room was filthy too, and the couch was broken and eventually found the remove under a very very dirty couch.

Very disappointing!

Pros:

Cleanliness, friendly staff

Cons:

The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear the doors slamming in the staircase from the bedrooms. The windows sound like they are open but they're closed. Our unit only had 3 plates, some which looked like they were probably serving platters. Some of the pillow cases weren't clean.

Breakfree Diamond Beach - we would go again.
Pros:

The rooms were comfortable and provided a great base for getting out and about. The pool is awesome. We had two apartments, each with 2 bathrooms.

Cons:

Our room was missing dinner plates. It was quite noisy with the construction behind us, but we were warned. Because all doors needed tge security fob, when our group split up, we sometimes ended up locked out waiting for others to get back. The ensuite bathrooms don't have doors. It's the bedroom, walk through wardrobe and them the bathroom.

Location is excellent, bbq facilities are great.

Cons:

Dripping laundry tap located on arrival-repaired by handyman.
Ensuite shower drain very poor and partially blocked, causing repeated flooding and excess need to wash and dry towels.
Main shower head leaking excessively and spraying everywhere,
Dishwasher in need of a service/clean and rinse aid to operate correctly.
Front screen door did not lock
Front glass door insecure at each side allowing air and bugs inside.
Doorways observed to be dirty/mouldy.

Home away from home
Pros:

Everything. The lovely landscaped pool, the landscaped gardens, the unit was nice and clean, with all facilities being available. The reception staff friendly and helpful. Location is great within walking distance to all local shops, shopping centres, and services, eateries and beach.

Great value family getaway
Pros:

Pros:

Excellent amenities. Great location. Stayed here 22 years ago. Still a great family place to stay.

Cons:

The unit needed a deep clean. Floors were filthy. There was mould around floors near skirting’s and furniture.
Beds rolled around a lot.

Great location, great place to stay for kids but the rooms need a really good clean!
Pros:

The location was great. Close to Pacific Fair and walking distance to the beach and coffee shops. Great set up for the kids with the pools and playground.

Cons:

Our room needed a really good clean! I moved the bed to make it and found a banana peel stuck to the bottom of the bed head. Both toilet doors had urine splatter on the back of them and the floors were dusty and not clean when we arrived. The room needed a good vacuum and mop. Couldn’t walk around without shoes on as it felt dirty.

Overall we had a great stay and were lucky to get a great apartment. Was good value for money.
Pros:

The lagoon pool, BBQ facilities and playground were great, especially the heated pool for our toddler. Parking spot was convenient.The 2 bedroom apartment was big, we were lucky to overlook the lagoon pool waterfall spa. It had 2 bathrooms which was a nice surprise and the kitchen seemed to be recently updated and modern.

Cons:

We did wake up to the construction in the mornings, but wasn’t too much of a bother. The leather couch was a bit worse for wear.
