Gentleman Suit (Room 1)
Pros:

It was lovely and peaceful, room was very clean with everything we could need in there, including a hair dryer and hair straighteners. Complimentry chocolates and water in the mini fridge. Dressing gowns and slippers supplied. The food served there is out of this world and definitely good for the price. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

The room was not as described on booking.com the bath tub is not in the room but rather a separate bathroom.
The TV wasnt great it kept freezing and the sky didnt work, after a lovely day and evening we wanted to relax and watch something but were unable to.

We loved our stay always a special place to return
Pros:

We love the Who’d a thought it we had our wedding night here 26 years ago and very much gravitate towards here for special occasions the food was delicious and service was great and the unique rooms make for a really special experience

Cons:

I would say our room was looking a little tired but just needs a refresh

Eccentric and whimsically hotel
Pros:

Staff were professional and courteous.
Rooms was clean and comfortable- especially the bed.
Lovely gardens.

Cons:

Water pressure in shower was really low
Listing said a fridge is provided in the room. It’s the reason I booked this hotel, but no fridge in the room.

Gezellige pub en buiten ruimte, prima parkeerplaatsen. Badkamer lekker ruim en schoon.

Cons:

Hotel kamer erg klein, matras vonden wij persoonlijk niet prettig liggen. Ramen om naar buiten te kijken waren niet schoon.

Lovely different style staycation
Pros:

Beautiful different room, little extras like chocolate made it feel special. Restaurant great, food lovely as was breakfast

Cons:

Tv did not work, signal not great at all so could not watch anything, was only there one night so didnt cause too much of a problem
Bathroom could have had a little deep clean

This place has really gone down hill used to be an exclusive place to stay
Pros:

Breakfast was nice. Drinks are nice. Staff are friendly. Outside seating is good with places in the shade. The inside of the hotel is quirky and fun.

Cons:

The room and bathroom is outdated and needs an upgrade its like being in a ti9me warp that used to have style but doesn't any longer. The menu is limited and the choices were not great, the quality of food in the restaurant was not that good either. There were loads of wasps outside that were pestering the guests.

Underwhelming and disappointing
Pros:

Lovely location and friendly approachable staff. Food was lovely and service was excellent.

Cons:

Room had a very damp musty smell. Decor was in need of refreshment and was very dusty. The carpet had faded stains, sofa had old staining and windows were difficult to open. Bar area was in need of refreshing and upgrading. Potential to be a fantastic place with some TLC to rooms and bar area. Sky TV in room did not work as promised.

Well that was a nice stay but value for money let’s say I payed £345 for a night with room which wasn’t cleaned properly
