Hotel Joyce - Astotel

One of the most outstanding 3-star hotels imaginable in Paris or anywhere else. Scrupulously clean. Mostly excellent cordial service from professional employees. The room mini-bar holds *free* beverages. The breakfast buffet includes cucumbers, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, frittata, cheeses, pork, fruit salad (which should be thrown out when it gets old instead of being put out more than 2 days in a row), etc. There was a problem with kitchen employees, but management took care of it swiftly and even left some small gifts and a note in our room to make up for the inconvenience. Wow. Emma (manager?) was particularly helpful. A free self-service and very generous snack bar is open from 2:00 pm to past midnight includes peanuts, pretzels, small pastries, cold and hot beverages, chocolate candy, and access to a microwave. Astotel is a chain. Guests of any property in the chain are allowed to partake of the snack bars in other Astotel properties around Paris, and also perhaps a fitness center. Air conditioning was most welcome, as it was crucial during the heat wave. It’s on a quiet street, but within walking distance are some lively areas such as the Gare St. Lazare, Pigalle, and St. Georges. It’s in the theatre district, which means some local restaurants stay open quite late to accommodate spectators after performances. We have two suggestions: (1) For safety, put at least one grab bar in the shower and a rubber mat. (2) Nail the framed print above the bed more securely to the wall so there is no risk of it falling upon sleeping guests.

The hotel is very lovely. The location is the key! It’s in the middle of the main attractions. The rooms are small, but very clean and authentic. Free soft drinks in the mini bar . The breakfast is very French and very good! The staff is friendly and laid back. I would definitely recommend and come back !

Staff was fantastic.

We had a girl’s trip. It was perfect from the location to the cozy chamber 🌸🌸🌸 . To take a foam bath after a long day walk -10/10. Thank you for AC. It worked 🫶🏻👍. We felt pampered. The stuff was friendly and effektiv.

Hotel Joyce is located on a quiet street approximately 300 meters away from two subway stations. We had a wonderful stay at this small, friendly hotel. Our room was comfortable with a great bed, air conditioning and a fridge.
Breakfast is served in a very pleasant room and there is a variety of things to choose from. Snacks, cold refreshments, coffee and tea are available in this same room all afternoon long. Lovely to come in from a tiring day and to be able to sit down and have a coffee with a piece of cake or a cereal bar or something to that effect.
All the hotel employees are incredibly kind, helpful and pleasant.
Our room was perfectly silent and clean.
The only negative thing I would point out is that the bathtub screen was not large enough to keep the shower water from wetting the bathroom floor so it got pretty wet after our showers.
Other than that, everything was perfect and we shall definitely return in the future.

Very accessible. Near major sites. Room was clean and facilities are well maintained. Also, inspired aesthetic. Entertainment facility also efficient.

Phenomenal stay from start to finish! Guy and his entire team went above and beyond to make our honeymoon truly special. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed, and the little extra touches throughout our stay meant so much to us.

The hotel itself is in the perfect location—close to the Metro, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, and even just steps from a Michelin-starred restaurant. It made exploring Paris incredibly easy.

Du Merveilleux Accueil à notre arrivée, à notre Séjour et Notre départ, tout était parfait.

Un chambre très fonctionnelle avec un air conditionné à la pointe, très silencieux comme la chambre d'ailleurs.. on a passé des nuits très reposantes.

Au petit déjeuner, rien à dire... de tout, varié et aussi aux petits soins, d'une gentillesse remarquable.

Aussi un WIFI puissant et une télévision moderne (je n'ai pas trouvé le timer dans le menu de la TV pour s'endormir , mais c'est pas grave)

Great hotel in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The snacks available at the hotel were a nice bonus after a day of sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Joyce.
