We will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The room was quiet, the evening meal was fine, and the staff even accomodated my change request 👍. We were late for breakfast so the bacon was a bit dried but everything else was great.

A great place to stay. Clean rooms and linen and friendly, helpful staff.

A slight downer
Pros:

It was nice to have a complimentary drink for our stay. The leisure facilities were good. Bed was comfy. Lilliana was an excellent help. Loved that my child got to eat for free. It was nice to have a decent TV where I can watch streaming services (Netflix, Disney+)

Cons:

The shower drain filter had clumps of hair that my daughter pulled out. Breakfast was a disappointment as not everything was there (no juice, no pastries). Not being able to sit in restaurant for evening meal was disappointing especially since there was 4 people working behind the bar (it wasn't busy). Also the travel cot provided had stains on the side.

Pleasant stay and a good location for us meeting up with family
Pros:

Nicely laid out. Good seating area. Nice restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

We had read there were issues with the air-conditioning but it wasn’t very warm in our bedroom, especially in the bathroom, and the heater didn’t seem to make much difference.

Pros:

Convenient location. Good layout with great bar/reception area.

Cons:

No power on arrival, unable to use pool until 3pm. Room smelt of sewage. Unable to be moved as fully booked. Restaurant very cold, too cold to sit in. Had to sit in bar area but then didn’t get the restaurant service. Staff were sometimes helpful, sometimes not.

If you want a rest elsewhere is best
Pros:

We didn't and checked out after a few hours

Cons:

The car park has craters in it like the surface of the moon. The building exterior is in terrible condition as are the windows.
The bed was concaved like someone had died on it. The pillows had suspicious stains.
There were ferel children running up and down the corridor that almost took a member of staff out who was carrying room service.
The last entry to the pool was 7pm and the line breached the bar area.
We drove up from the south coast as we were staying at West midlands safari lodges the following day but decided for our sanity to check out and stay elsewhere.

Friendly staff very acomadating .
Pros:

Thought the choice of breakfast was very good.I had traditional fried breakfast,and it could have been hotter.It was only luke warm.

Good location. Corporate hotel but not one of their best.
Pros:

It is an IHG hotel so you should expect a corporate feel. The staff were helpful and did their best under some difficulty. Food and breakfast were good.

Cons:

The restaurant was painfully understaffed with one waitress for the entire thing. In the end I gave up of waiting for her to take my order and went and got it in the bar. No aspersion on her nbut certainly on the management who had failed to arrange adequate staffing

Overpriced. Not like other holiday inns, and certainly not the front of house staff’s fault
Pros:

Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very helpful upon checkout. A 20% refund was offered without much opposition - suggesting that the problems are not new.

Cons:

Blocked sink, tiny room, no heating/aircon (E01 is a communication error between the control unit and the external unit - I might suggest that in order to save money that the external units have been turned off) broken window latch in the bathroom, Stench of damp, awful pillows.
