Beds very comfortable breakfast was great aircon was a must as was the

The Tuna Salad
The staff were rude, unhelpful and didn't have any interests in helping. No air con which was specifically the reason I paid twice the price in the area, pillows awful, worst nights sleep I had so much so left at 6am as was just exhausted
The room was good, but very warm. We did have a fan brought to our room.., it was extremely loud. It was a struggle to sleep with the noose.
Diversions to the hotel were very misleading.
Lovely free spa and the set up was gorgeous and relaxing

The staff were lovely all friendly and helpful, decent size room, lovely and clean, good sized shower
Evening meals were good value and good portions
Staff made the hotel, clearly doing their best, owners need to carry out repairs to areas that need doing before its too late
Though repairs required we would be happy to use again as the good points outweigh the bad
The swimming pool was clean, but clearly had seen better days.
Car park was large and plently of room, though several potholes that need attention
Though.the communal areas were clean, tidy and well kept, it is clear the whole hotel is due for a refit, window frames were rotten, air conditioning in rooms didnt appear to be working either
Rooms close together
Air con in room not working, a fan was in room but situated away from bed to suit sockets, room was really warm, windows dirty, room not hoovered, cups dirty, even sitting outside for dinner tables all had ashtrays that were full, my son could not get dried after swimming due to the heat in changing rooms, breakfast cutlery and glasses for juice also dirty
Staff was generally good and tried to help. Location was good and parking was plenty. Nothing else to add
AC did not work and they say its not been working for 6 months and they informed on email and expect us to cancel. How do we know they have a perpetual problem with them AC and they wont be able to repair it 15 days after they sent the message. The room was far away and not directions or marking or help from the staff.

Convenient, clean and good value
Some road noise
Chose the hotel on the basis of its location relative to an event I was attending. In hindsight should have travelled further afield. The only redeeming quality of the place is the friendliness and willingness of the staff to help. Mostly poorly trained and incompetent ... but friendly and willing none the less.
Arriving in the carpark my heart sank. Looks like a derelict building and carpark that has been abandoned. Check-in took an hour because of a power cut. Did not bother checking out because the reception had 20 people in a queue. No air-con in the room - only a fan. Was warned about this on booking ... but that was 3 months ago! Pre-booked breakfast ... and having been welcomed and told we could sit anywhere ... we discovered most tables still had cups and plates from the last occupant. Coffee machine did not work. Breakfast was generally low quality - except, surprisingly, for the croissant!
