It was very comfortable & the hotel was quiet and well-maintained.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent--lots of choices: cereal, yogurt and then the full meals with eggs & sausage or porridge. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was adequate. Our room was comfortable and there was plenty of parking, as we had a car.

Cons:

The town is very small and there weren't choices of restaurants for dinners there in town. Luckily, we had a car & could go to other towns there in Fife.

Great hotel
Pros:

Reception were helpful and friendly. Very welcoming hotel. Our room was on the first floor, very comfortable.

Cons:

Parking was a bit of a problem as there was a party on when we arrived so there was only one space left.

Definitely recommend for others to stay here. We will be back.
Pros:

It was designed with period features which was lovely. Quite grand looking from the outside.
The dinning/bar area is lovely.
Room was a nice size with a decent size shower.
The staff are what make this place. They all went above and beyond especially the lady serving breakfast.
The food was delicious. We had a group meal in the evening and everyone enjoyed everything they had to eat.
The breakfast. Wow! Had everything you would expect from a traditional Scottish breakfast. Other options were available as well as cereal and yogurts. This was definitely a highlight for me.

Cons:

There was a delivery quite early in the morning which did wake us up and the tipping of the bottle bins. Which could have waited until guests were awake. Not at around 6am.
