Accommodation was good and comfortable
When ordering dinner for my son I specified allergies, including milk, and requested the kids pasta meal come without cheese. The meal then came with cheese on the side which made us question the segregation of the meal - this was quite upsetting and cause for concern.
Very nice
Room was not what we booked
Very clean and it smells like a very clean hotel.
Maybe a little wear and tear on the poolside and a bit of paint work in the room, that really is me searching for something on a hotel that old and busy. No issues at all to be fair
It’s a beautiful building with great staff and the perfect location for what we need.
Some of the rooms are now looking tired and some need renovation of the bathrooms.
We have stayed many times, but the room was not as clean as usual and particularly the bathroom was lacking.
The location, the staff all very good
The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in
Very nice location and stunning grounds. Gorgeous house.
A little bit more cleaning in the rooms ….the door architraves were dusty.
Everything, lovely room, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, fabulous facilities, wonderful staff, great location. Would go out of my way to stay again.
Nothing
Lovely food . Location peaceful . Have been many times
Had an issue with the lighting in room 66. Couldn’t switch certain lights off at night !!
Great looking old building
Lacked any atmosphere built for one night stays
Beautiful property, rooms, grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Quality of the beds and pillows was poor.
Lovely building staff were very helpful
Could do with a lick of paint
Pianist playing at dinner made our whole stay
Should advertise him more!
Food was a massive let down
Bland & average at most
The breakfast had a good choice.
Few items especially the hash browns and fried bread a little dried up. The egg yolks are too overcooked.in the fried eggs.
All 4 pillows in the room were really lumpy. Uncomfortable nights sleep.
Iron but no ironing board.
The meals and drinks very overpriced. Making the stay very expensive. The meals dont warrant the price
Lovely location looks impressive rooms are a good size and good facilities
No dressing gowns in room despite booking spa treatments wanted us to pay £5 to hire. Also despite stating there were toiletries available at reception there wasn’t and I reacted to the body wash and shampoo in room so asked for some alternative to be told there was non. Also no glasses in room for water.
It was quiet and efficiently run with helpful staff
Nothing. It was ideal for a one night stay en route to a holiday
