Pros:

Unique hotel in an old abbey conveniently located near Chester and door way into Wales.
Pros:

Unique hotel in an old Abbey, in central Wrexham very close to the bus station and close to the train station. Easy access to Wales via a beautiful drive up the Dee river. Breakfast on site.

Cons:

Wrexham itself is quiet and fairly non-descript town. Parking at the hotel was possible, but a little tight.

Unique to our room (room 10) probably but the sound of the fans coming on very early Sunday morning was extremely noisy and did wake us up.

Pleasant stay on the outskirts of Wrexham. Amazing breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Amazing breakfast. Best value is to include the breakfast in your booking rather than pay on the day. Nice little bar downstairs. Shame it wasn't open a little later into the evening. Short walk into Wrexham town centre.

Cons:

A little rough around the edges in parts. Big stain on the carpet as we entered our room. Just needs a little touch of paint and a clean of the carpets to make good.
Shower head needs a clean so the water actually comes out properly. Main light bulbs in bathroom weren't working.

Very happy with our experience.
Pros:

The full breakfast was very good and the eggs benedict was superb. The coffee was a bit disappointing but that could be personal taste. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Excellence with a wrinkle!
Pros:

The only issue was a fairly weak WiFi 'in the room'. Down in the lobby totally fine but any attempts to upload large files or work in that way was basically difficult 'up in the room'.

Pros:

Outstanding restaurant, incredibly friendly staff, with clean rooms. This was our second time here. We are so happy to get the Sunday roast!!

Outstanding breakfast
Pros:

Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Was a bit stuffy as hot even with window open. Shower was excellent and they had good products.

Welcome was pleasant and clear information. 24 hour shop nearby. Excellent location to the Wrexham ground and pubs and bars.

Breakfast was really good quality and very generous portions. Strongly recommend you include in your booking.

A very pleasant hotel
Pros:

The Lemon Tree Hotel is set in a lovely building. I stayed in the upstairs room number five which had a comfortable double bed and a well appointed ensuite with shower. There was ample storage space for clothes. There was tea, coffee and bottled water in the room which was a nice touch. The room was very warm - perhaps a bit too warm if anything. There was a delightful view of someone's back yard too. I booked "room only" but elected to pay extra for breakfast. It should be noted that the breakfast was more of a "cafe style" arrangement. In other words, you are given a menu containing individually priced items. I had the full Welsh breakfast and a pot of tea. It was very good and served with a smile. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Wrexham General Railway Station and about 15 minutes walk to The Racecourse Ground. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and would certainly return one day.
