Amazing! Awesome! Great holiday… looking forward to our next trip!

We had the most amazing stay at The Z Hotel, and honestly, what made the experience so special was the people.

From the moment we arrived, exhausted after travelling overnight, we were welcomed with so much warmth and energy. I believe it was Naima who checked us in, and she was an absolute breath of fresh air! Her huge smile, upbeat personality, laughs and jokes genuinely brought us back to life after a long journey. Within minutes, we were smiling and excited, and it set the tone for the holiday ahead.

A very special mention has to go to Pratiksha, the Guest Relations Manager. We had requested a room change shortly after arriving, and despite the short notice, she went out of her way to accommodate us. She handled everything with such kindness, understanding and professionalism, and it completely changed our headspace. Suddenly, we could relax, settle in and really start enjoying our holiday. We were incredibly grateful for how she handled it.

But what really stood out throughout our stay was that this level of service wasn’t limited to one or two people — it was EVERYONE. From the team at breakfast, the beachcomber, the security guards opening the beach gates, the gentlemen helping with our luggage, to the staff welcoming us at the hotel entrance — everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and kindness and was always willing to go the extra mile.

Even the smallest things impressed us. We sent some clothes for laundry expecting them back the following day, as stated, and by that same evening everything had already been beautifully returned and laid out on our bed. It’s those little touches that make you feel truly looked after.

The Z Hotel itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who really make this place special. We came away with such wonderful memories of Zanzibar, and this hotel and its incredible team were a huge part of that.

Thank you, Pratiksha, Naima and the entire Z Hotel team for making our holiday so memorable.

Pros:

The private swimming pool and the beach. The spacious and modern restaurant. The efficient and attentive staff.

Cons:

A hotel of this size doesn’t have its own car park, even though there are plenty all around it.
Even on the private beach, there are beach boys and locals touting various activities, who are really annoying.

The shower in our room. The wet room concept is great but with a fixed shower head, it wasn’t practical and got messy quick.

Best honeymoon we ever had 😅
Pros:

Breakfast is amazing, both the food and especially the view and ambiance. Beach pool at Z Hotel is amazing as well. Staff is extremely attentive and kind. Very good location, right on the beach, close to market, restaurants, diving and tour boats. Honeymoon package was a free couples massage that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Cons:

Dirty beach with lots of sargassum, room phone not working.

Pros:

Otroligt bra läge med fantastisk personal. Hotellet hade tre egna restauranger som är bland de populäraste på ön och alla tre levererade jättebra mat. Även egna pooler och egen strand med tillgång till mat. Otroligt bra gym också och alltid välstädat. Fanns verkligen inget att klaga på.

It was amazing and would love to go back there the next time we book Zanzibar.
Pros:

The facilities were amazing and the hotel was beautiful, the security was amazing at keeping you unbothered by vendors. The location was amazing with lots to do around.

Cons:

Most the staff were super friendly, and attentive, however some restaurant staff were not and service can be slow at breakfast. There was no Halal meat options available for breakfast.
