Room 12 suite was excellent
No shaving mirror otherwise perfect.
The facilities were amazing and the hotel was beautiful, the security was amazing at keeping you unbothered by vendors. The location was amazing with lots to do around.
Most the staff were super friendly, and attentive, however some restaurant staff were not and service can be slow at breakfast. There was no Halal meat options available for breakfast.
Location and facilities were great, good gym and 3 different restaurants on site. Everyone was super helpful and genuinely happy to help.
Hard work ordering breakfast for two people but that was mainly down to it being lost in translation.
Собственная зона на пляже, удобные лежаки с очень красивыми зонтиками от солнца, оxраняется сотрудником отеля и можно спокойно оставлять вещи на лежакаx. Отливы не мешают купанию в море, песок на пляже очень мягкий и белый. Сотрудники отеля очень приветливы и внимательны. Отличный бассейн с видом на море, можно устроиться на лежакаx возле бассейна и вид оттуда тоже будет очень замечательный на море, всего несколько ступенек отделяет собственную зону на пляже и территорию возле бассейна, нам это очень понравилось))) Территория небольшая, но очень уютно и зелено. Сам отель и номера все очень стильно оформлено и это создает классную атмосферу и настроение.

its an amazing location with great food, drinks and views
The beautiful beach is crowded and overwhelmed by solicitors for boat rides, massages, trinkets and braids.
The property is well maintained and is modern in their facilities. The sexy fish and marigold restaurants were good. The staff was the best.
The private beach access is a farce, on top the area infront of The hotel beach was used by boats, horses etc. there was nothing private. In kendwa though you could feel how they kept their beach private through guards.

עברנו 3 חדרים. השניים הראשונים היו מסריחים מעובש. אי אפשר היה לשון מהריח אחד גם קטן במיוחד
הצוות ידע שיש בעיה של עובש אבל לא הייתה ברירה כי המלון היה מלא.
אחרי שעברנו חדר אחרי יומיים היה מעולה
La chambre est propre et bien équipé avec un service de ménage qui passe deux fois par jour (une pour le ménage et une autre pour l'application de l'anti moustique mais permet de faire un second check au besoin notamment pour renouveler les bouteilles d'eau), le personnel est d'une grande sympathie et toujours attentionné que ce soit à l'accueil, au restaurant ou à la piscine,
Au niveau des équipements, la piscine est incroyable notamment au coucher du soleil, la plage devant l'hotel ne subit que très peu les marées ce qui permet de nager par toute heure.
Au niveau de l'emplacement pas mal de restaurants/bars sont disponibles à pied et au besoin il y a toujours des taxis à la sortie de la rue.
Le petit déjeuner est très varié et très bon avec une excellent vue qui rend chaque matin le moment exceptionnel (malgré les corbeaux)
La salle de sport est fonctionnel et variée et offre une belle vue sur la plage.
L'hotel offre si vous êtes en lune de miel et que vous y restez plus de 4 nuits quelques beaux avantages toutefois ce dernier demande le certificat de mariage et ce dernier doit dater de moins de 4 mois selon la politique de l'hotel, nous étions de notre côté à 6 et du coup nous n'y avions malheureusement pas eu droit.
Il s'agissait du seul hôtel de notre séjour où le prix n'incluait pas une "taxe de séjour" qu'il nous a été demandé de régler avant d'accéder à la chambre malgré le fait que ce soit bien inscrit sur booking "taxes comprises".
Le restaurant indien au Z2 était légèrement en dessous de nos attentes pour la gamme de prix
El Z Hotel nos ha parecido una buena opción para quedarte en Nunqwi gracias a su ubicación, su preciosa decoración y la capacidad de ofrecer tranquilidad dentro de lo caótica que puede ser la playa en temporada alta (agosto). Lo mejor del día empezaba con un desayuno espectacular en la terraza del restaurante Sexy Fish con el mar justo enfrente, y continuaba en su zona de hamacas privada en la playa, la cual cuenta con seguridad para que no te molesten los vendedores ni se tumbe nadie con toallas delante. Además, la piscina es un área muy tranquila y con muy buenas vistas, y el bar de la azotea se convierte en el lugar perfecto para terminar el día con unas vistas preciosas para ver el sunset. En resumen, un hotel precioso y muy bien situado para disfrutar de una estancia perfecta.
Sin embargo, la experiencia global se vio empañada por varios aspectos importantes, empezando por la zona, que nos desilusionó un poco al estar extremadamente masificada y no tener nada que ver con la tranquilidad de otras partes de Zanzíbar. En cuanto a la habitación, nos asignaron una que daba justo a la zona de las cocinas, por lo que cada vez que salíamos a la terraza olía a comida durante todo el día. Por último, cabe mencionar que la cama de matrimonio nos pareció bastante pequeña para un hotel de esta categoría.
Great location on Nungwi beach. We stayed in the rooftop suite in Z2 (newer building), which was huge, lovely bathroom and dressing room, and had great views (great for hosting drinks if you are part of a bigger group). The hotel has 2 good pools and a good gym. The restaurant and rooftop bar were great - definitely a must for sunset cocktails.
Guests in Z2 should automatically be allowed to eat breakfast at Sexy Fish - the other place just doesn't compare (the GM did accommodate my request for our group for our stay). The bed in the rooftop suite is too small and hard mattress - it should be a California king considering the room size. The small fridge in the dressing room was awful - didn't work, was on an angle so everything rolled out and could not fit anything in. There needs to be a much bigger working fridge.

Buena ubicación, permite para disfrutar de una puesta de sol desde la piscina, o desde la playa semiprivada. Perfecto para pasear por la playa a primera hora de la mañana, con la marea baja y disfrutar de un baño por la tarde con la marea alta.
Se pueden encontrar muchas pequeñas tiendas de souvenir, nada más salir del hotel.

Tout est parfait!
The hotel has great decor and was very well maintained. Our rooms were prepared twice a day and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are 3/4 restaurants on site with a great variety of food and drinks options. You also had access to the facilities in both hotels.
Be aware when booking Z2 that you don’t have a view of the beach or infinity pool as the pool in Z2 gets more shade. You could however use the pool with beach access in Z Hotel but it would’ve been helpful to have a shortcut instead of walking round. Our stay was very comfortable but not sure it was worth the £250 a night we paid for bed and breakfast.
