Cons:

You book hotel and then find out it’s greater than $100 cheaper. But, by that time you can’t cancel because you lose your money if you cancel. Don’t book ahead of time.

Pros:

Super Familienzimmer mit Kinderbetten auf Empore und großzügigem Badezimmer. Leckeres Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage direkt im Ort mit nur wenigen Gehminuten zum Strand.

Pros:

Great location - can walk to grocery store, shops & restaurants/pubs/pizza. Lots of parking & free! Great wifi!! Nice breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Pretty thin walls. One evening can hear a phone constantly buzz with messages & person snoring mist of the night.
Small bathroom but hot water.

Skvělý hotel. Všude bylo čisto, upraveno a personál byl velmi příjemný. Nejvíce mi utkvěla v paměti snídaně - byla vynikající a velmi pestrá. Každý si najde jídlo podle své chuti. Poloha je velmi dobrá, parkoviště je nedaleko. Doporučuji.

Dull hotel and not good value.
Pros:

In the town and could hear the sea.

Cons:

View of our room - top room - was 70% carpark. Loads of buildings between hotel and the sea. Food was expensive even by Icelandic standards and not very exciting and service was slow.

Good location, new property
Pros:

New property. Comfortable room for the 3 of us. The breakfast selection was good. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was nice.

Cons:

Unfortunately the shower floods, which could be because of the newness of the property.

Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Amazing atmosphere, restaurant and rooms were spacious and very clean.

Cons:

The taps in the shower were tricky. They were hard to turn with wet soap hands.

Comfortable stay in Vik
Pros:

Location was good. We were travelling with 3 adults, and it was great they could accommodate us with 3 single beds. Breakfast had a wide variety of options.

Cons:

Small complaint, but the carpet down the hallways were quite dirty.
