Very disappointing stay. For the room rate I paid, this was nowhere near what you’d expect from a Mandarin Oriental. It honestly felt like a completely different, much lower-tier hotel hiding behind the brand.
The basics of hospitality are simply missing. Service is careless, inconsistent, and lacks any sense of attention or ownership. There’s nothing about the experience that reflects a luxury standard.
The room was a major problem. Facing King Fahad Road, the noise at night is unbearable. The windows have almost zero soundproofing, making it nearly impossible to sleep. For a hotel charging these rates, this is completely unacceptable.
The gym is outdated and poorly maintained, with a very old feel that doesn’t match a premium property at all.
Breakfast was equally poor. Limited options, average quality, and nowhere close to what you’d expect from a luxury property.
Overall, this stay was a clear disappointment and nowhere near worth the price. Definitely not up to Mandarin Oriental standards

تقييمي لإقامتي في الفندق مخيبًا جدًا للآمال، لدرجة أنني شعرت وكأنني في فندق بدولة من العالم الثالث وليس في أحد أبرز معالم الرياض وفندق يحمل اسم وعلامة فاخرة.
حجزت جناح (Suite) بالإضافة إلى باقة شهر العسل بقيمة تقارب 3000 ريال، لكن معظم الخدمات المذكورة في الباقة كانت إما أساسية يقدمها أي فندق 5 نجوم أو لم يتم توفيرها فعليًا:
* خدمة صف السيارات متوفرة أصلًا لأي نزيل بالفندق.
* الدخول للنادي الرياضي حق طبيعي لأي مقيم.
* خدمة الخادم 24 ساعة لم أرها إطلاقًا ولم يتم تزويدي حتى برقم للتواصل معه.
الصدمة الحقيقية كانت عند الوصول آخر الليل مع زوجتي، حيث كان أهل زوجتي ينتظرون عند السيارة، وفوجئت بموظف الاستقبال يخبرني أن باقة شهر العسل “غير مضافة بالنظام” وأنه لا يمكنني دخول الغرفة إلا بعد الدفع مرة أخرى، رغم أن المبلغ مدفوع مسبقًا. واضطررت تحت هذا الموقف المحرج لإعطائه بطاقتي ليقوم بحجز مبلغ إضافي مجددًا.
وفي آخر الليل طلبت طعامًا للغرفة، وطلبت من موظف المطعم أن تتم المحاسبة عند تسجيل الخروج، لكنه رفض بحجة أنني “لم أضع مبلغًا عند الدخول”، وهو أمر غير مقبول إطلاقًا لفندق بهذه الفئة.
أما العزل الصوتي فكان سيئًا جدًا؛ طوال الليل وأول الصباح كنت أسمع أصوات السيارات القادمة من طريق الملك فهد وكأنني أنام بجانب الشارع، رغم أن الجناح كان في الدور الخامس.
وعند المغادرة انتظرت أكثر من نصف ساعة حتى يأتي أحد للمساعدة في حمل الأمتعة، وفي النهاية اضطررت لإنزال الشنط بنفسي.
للأسف، التجربة بالكامل لا تليق باسم الفندق ولا بمستوى الأسعار والخدمات المفترض تقديمها، خصوصًا في مناسبة مهمة مثل شهر العسل.
