We love staying in this location and hiring a car to explore the south coast. Beautiful place
Pros:

Location. This is our 4th visit.

Cons:

Parking seemed expensive and we tried a classic suite this time as we normally have a sea view deluxe room. We won’t be compromising the view again.

If i can deal exclusively with the hotel i will be back -otherwise no.
Pros:

I dident start off well due to overcharge by booking . com -but the property did us proud holding to the room and sea views that surpassed even our expectations-evening meal first evening i thought could be better maybe glas of wine in with meal but breakfast next morning was first class and i have eaten in some fancy houses over 50 years ,this was surberb as was second evening meal .

apart from overcharge by Bookink . com -simple everything was tip-top.

Pros:

Buffet de petit-dej très bien.

Cons:

En octobre, jamais de soleil sur la piscine. Chambres latérales avec vue sur mer situées au-dessus d’un arrêt de cars touristiques très bruyants dès 6 h du matin !
Aucune aide pour les bagages à l'arrivée ni au départ.
Quasi-obligation de payer le parking de l'hôtel (15 euros par jour !) car les rares places gratuites des ruelles voisines ne sont jamais libres.
Isolation sonore des chambres voisines à améliorer.

Pros:

Tolle Lage, sehr sauberes Hotel.
Riesengroße Familiensuite mit tollem Balkon und seitlichem Meerblick.
Nur über die Straße und schon ist man am Meer.
Perfekt an der Uferpromenande mit Bars ,Geschäften, Restaurants.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Paid for a Suite Deluxe – Then Asked to Pay Extra
After a five-night stay at RR Hotel da Rocha, I extended my booking by two more nights. A receptionist offered me a 10% discount, and I booked and paid €256 for a Suite Deluxe**, including breakfast and city tax.

The next morning, I was informed that my Suite Deluxe was no longer available because the guests occupying it had extended their stay. I accepted the inconvenience and agreed to wait until the afternoon for another room.

When I finally received my room, I discovered that I had been given a Suite Premium (30 m²) instead of the larger Suite Deluxe (40 m²) I had booked and paid for. When I contacted reception, I was told that a Suite Deluxe would now cost €261 and that I would need to pay an additional €20.

Why should I pay extra for a room I had already booked and paid for? And why €20 when the quoted price difference was only €5?

When I went downstairs to resolve the issue, several reception staff became involved. One questioned why her colleague had offered me a discount in the first place, while another explained that the hotel's prices were "dynamic" and had changed overnight. Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering a reasonable solution, the staff gave conflicting explanations and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

In the end, I gave up and stayed in the room I had been given.

The issue was not the money, but the hotel's failure to honour my booking and the unprofessional way the situation was handled. This experience ruined my two extra days in Portimão. I expect a formal apology and financial compensation before I would consider returning to RR Hotel da Rocha.

Stort fint rom, med stor balkong med utsikt over stranden. Herlig dusj. Deilig frokost med godt utvalg.

Cons:

Svømmebassenget lå på baksiden i skygge, og mindre innbydende enn det så ut på bildet.

Pros:

Localização excelente assim como a vista e tem estacionamento o que é muito útil. Cama extra grande em acomodações muito amplas, confortáveis e limpas. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos.
