Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Service
Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Baía The Views. Das Hotel ist wunderschön, die Lage ist super und die Aussicht wirklich beeindruckend. Auch das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns, dass unsere Extra-Wünsche erfüllt wurden. Die gewünschten Blumen waren im Zimmer vorbereitet, und zum Geburtstag wurde sehr herzlich gratuliert. Am Nachmittag hatten wir sogar Schaumwein im Zimmer, dazu gab es ein kleines Upgrade beim Essen für diesen Tag sowie einen Schokoladenkuchen. Das war eine sehr schöne Überraschung und hat den Aufenthalt noch spezieller gemacht.

Auch die Drinks waren sehr gut und insgesamt haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch auf Madeira komme ich sehr gerne wieder ins Baía The Views.

Over priced hotel with nice public areas but bedrooms are just okay
Pros:

Comfy sun loungers and really good lunch in the restaurant by the pool.
Good selection at breakfast too

Cons:

We didn’t have the best greeting on arrival by an older chap at reception.
“Passports please” came before any kind of welcome. Our room was a twin when we booked a double and the bedroom facilities felt budget.
Minimal lighting in the rooms with 2 spotlights across the entire room.
No iron/board in the room. Very small shower cubicle.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Funchal nestled in between dual carriage ways over looking a demolished building so as you’re sunbathing you can hear all of the traffic.

When they say they clean the room, they basically just change the bedsheets and towels (which costs 1€ to replace!). The staff was not very friendly, nor did they seem competent, except for the masseur. The elevators are a total mess: slow and can't carry many people. There aren't many parking lots, so you have to arrive early or find somewhere else to park your rented car. They don't mention which prices include or exclude VAT.

Proximité du centre, petit déjeuner et buffet très copieux, chambre spacieuse

Cons:

Le bruit de la route lorsque nous sommes sur la terrasse de la piscine, buffet pas assez varié un peu répétitif en goût et saveurs

Prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk eten, prima locatie
Pros:

Prachtig uitzicht bij het zwembad en tijdens het ontbijt. Heerlijk zwembad, lekkere bedjes voor bij het zwembad. Het ontbijt was erg goed! Veel opties. Genoeg parkeerplek. Veilig afgesloten. Kamer was lekker groot.

Cons:

Het hotel ligt in Funchal en is zeker dichtbij de stad, maar aangezien het hotel redelijk hoog ligt, is het nogal een klim naar beneden en vooral omhoog.
