Unsere Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Einmaliger Blick über Funchal.
Pros:

Das Hotel war spontan und als Ersatz gedacht, es hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Die Location ist Perfekt um alle zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist aussergewöhnlich sauber in den öffentlichen Bereichen und auch die die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, kein Staub, keine Gerüche und ein sehr sauberer und riesiger Pool. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und besser als in vielen Hotels die ich bisher gesehen habe (in 30 Ländern)

Das besondere Highlight hier ist die Aussicht, auch die günstigsten Zimmer mit Bergblick bieten eine Augenweide.

Noch zu erwähnen ist das gut ausgestattete und sehr angenehme Fittness Center / Gym.

Cons:

Die Sauna schließt leider um 20 Uhr, hier sollte unbedingt nachgebessert werden und bis 22 Uhr geöffnet sein.

Everything about this hotel was worth the money with the views being the highlight
Pros:

The views were incredible, really lived up to the hotel name. The room was spacious and everything was clean. The breakfast was great with lots of variety and tasty food. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Luxury Treat - will stay again, amazing food and views
Pros:

The outdoor pool, indoor pool spa area and views overlooking Funchal. The Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The selection and quality was fantastic.

Cons:

Would have liked the outdoor pool to open later following a day of activities. Towels should be changed everyday without having to ask. More frequent shuttle runs to the center of town, but BOLT is very reasonable

Cama super confortável, funcionários super prestáveis, quarto espaçoso, grande diversidade de pequeno almoço e jantar. A zona da piscina é muito agradável, assim como a zona de spa. Fizemos uma massagem maravilhosa. Fizemos uma excursão pelo hotel que adorámos e uma das funcionárias recomendou-nos um restaurante em câmara de lobos incrível.

Cons:

Taxa da 15€ por pedido para room service. Tem de se pagar a garrafa de agua do jantar, apesar desta ser do hotel. Não gostámos dos cocktails. Apesar da política de limpeza de quartos seja interessante, achámos que o quarto podia ter ficados mais limpo visto que a nossa mesa não foi limpa e não nos trocaram as canecas e os copos.
