Great stay. From a returning visitor.
Pros:

Perfectly located, close to the centre. Some of the rooms overlook what can be described as one of the best in France. It overlooks the castle and lake.
The staff were exceptional and helpful. They made an effort to accommodate my limited French language without being standoffish.
The food is excellent. 2 x 3 course meals with wine water, aperitifs and coffees all for around £100. Breakfast was plentiful and had a nice touch of each person having their own tongues to handle their own food.
You could leave your luggage after checkout if you wanted to explore the area.
Highly recommended.

Cons:

No parking. This is not an issue as there is ample free parking available.

Pros:

Pierrefonds is qua locate een hele goede plek als tussenstop van of naar het zuiden. De plaats heeft meerdere overnachtingsmogelijkheden.

Cons:

De foto’s op Booking zijn veel belovend. Mooie verzorgde kamers met uitzicht op het imposante kasteel van Pierrefonds. In werkelijkheid zijn er maar 3 van de 20 kamers met dit mooie uitzicht die je enkel kunt boeken door direct contact op te nemen met het hotel (zo meldde de hotel eigenaar). Waar wij dachten in een geweldige sfeervolle kamer met uitzicht te overnachten werden wij in de gehandicapten kamer op de begaande grond geplaatst. Geen uitzicht, wel beschimmelde plinten, een krukje om zittend te douchen (wel met een haperende mengkraan btw) en beugels naast de wc voor extra grip. s’ avonds genoten we gratis mee met de disco aan de overkant van het hotel. Wifi, mocht je het nodig hebben, werkte net toen wij er waren even niet. De fotograaf van Pierrefonds is een echte vakman. In werkelijkheid is het hotel zeer simpel en heeft het zichtbaar achterstallig onderhoud. Wat op zich niet erg is, dan hadden we wel ergens een 4 of 5 sterren locatie geboekt. Maar bovenstaande is wel goed is om te weten wanneer je de foto’s bekijkt.

Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Great location for the castle. Super friendly staff. Really comfortable.

Cons:

Shame there wasn’t Aircon but a heatwave is not normal so I can’t mark it down for that. The room was excellent.

En période de canicule et sans clim, l établissement a fait au mieux pour nous proposer une chambre pas trop chaude.
Restaurant face au lac très agréable avec du personnel disponible

Cons:

Rajouter au minimum un ventilateur

Wondeful views and excellent service.
Pros:

The room was clean and practical. The bed was very comfortable and we had an amazing view over the village, lake and chateau. The breakfast cost extra but was worth it. They had an excellent continental breakfast with quality foods. The staff were really helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

Unfortunately we stayed during a heatwave and there was no aircon in the room but we were able to get a fan from reception. My mother who is in her 70s struggled with the uneven stairs as it is an old building.

Endroit parfait pour une ou deux nuitées.
Pros:

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le directeur et le petit-déjeuner était varié et copieux.
Lit très confortable avec une grande salle de bain.
Belle vue sur le château.

Cons:

La propreté de la douche car plutôt vétuste. Un peu de modernité dans la salle de bain serait un petit "plus"...
Rue assez bruyante le soir, surtout l'été quand les fenêtres sont ouvertes !

Due notti trascorse in comodità proprio di fronte alla vista del Castello.
Pros:

La finestra della camera mostrava una vista nitida sul lago e sul castello, un panorama concreto che giustifica la scelta di questa struttura. La posizione centrale dell'albergo consente di spostarsi comodamente a piedi per tutto il paese. La colazione offre prodotti freschi del territorio serviti ogni mattina in una sala silenziosa. E il ristorante... top!

Cons:

La natura storica della struttura comporta la mancanza di un ascensore interno e può rappresentare un piccolo ostacolo per chi trasporta valigie grandi lungo le scale di legno. I servizi essenziali rimangono comunque funzionali.

the stay was pleasant and was a short stay but it was more than 35 degrees and very hot
Pros:

We had a view to the back and were on top of the kitchen as we could hear the plates at night. the location is very good in the center of Pierrefonds

Cons:

no A/C and can get really hot there also there isn't a mini fridge.

Läget i den fantastiska byn. Nära till parkering
Bra sängar. Rent o snyggt.
Utsökt mat på restaurangen med vacker utsikt. Likaså till frukosten. Fick glutenfritt bröd från bageriet. Gott.
Hotellägaren gjorde att man trivdes. Var väldigt hjälpsamma. Pratade engelska.
