Carpet was drenched wet from leak in washung machine which wasnt picked up by cleaning staff and we were given a room with wet carpet.

Apart from the cleanliness (which we reported upon leaving)- the stay was good and we would rebook

The suite was spacious and ideally suited for our purpose
Loved the old world charm

Cons:

Room generally was not very clean- very dusty in all bedrooms (headboards, bedside tables and carpets.)
Other floor areas were "sticky" from the cleaning products used. Shower recess in main bathroom had nowhere to put soap as the soap shelf was broken
Packet of lollies found on bedroom windowsill/
Tea and coffee supplies had not been restocked and only one smalll UHT milk for 4 guests

Pretty good all round.
Pros:

Great location, great mostly friendly staff, but roadworks made it difficult to get a cab or Uber.

Cons:

Rooms were in need of a good clean. Carpet was quite dirty and stained.
Spare blankets were disgustingly dirty and when new replacements were brought up, they too were dirty.
Is a beautiful place to stay, just needs a bloody good cleaning from top to bottom and including all blankets, lounges, pillows etc.

comfortable and in a great location wish we could stay longer, but was fabulous for a one night stay

the size of the apartment and decor

Cons:

that the lamp above the desk wasn't brighter, and we couldn't turn the lounge room light off and leave the desk light on. Also the parking for the car was a bit difficult to get too.

Great value for money

Interior design was old worldly. The room size was excellent. Location very central. Could walk to the hotel from Central Station. Mondial Cafe was
great. Kitchenette and washing machine and dryer were very useful.
