Mostly good, but with issues that need addressing.
Pros:

The two bed-roomed ‘superior’ 1st floor apartment was spacious, with a good sized kitchen and plenty of kitchenware. Toiletries, washing up liquid etc were generous and a welcome pack of snacks plus cooking essentials like foil and oil were appreciated. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked. Very close to bus stop for buses into town.

Cons:

It was advertised as having a safe but it didn’t. When we raised the issue, a small new safe was fitted on the 3rd day of our stay. We asked for two security concerns to be addressed and one was on the 3rd day. We couldn’t use the oven because all the control info had rubbed off. There were other maintenance issues that we didn’t raise but were obvious. Overall, it was a bit shabby, especially the bathroom, and particularly as it was advertised as ‘superior’ .

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in und um Cairns
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und dennoch ruhig in Cairns. Sie ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Esplanade mit der kostenlosen Poollandschaft, das große Cairns Central Shopping Center sowie der Bahnhof mit den Zügen nach Kuranda sind zu Fuß rund 20 Minuten entfernt.

Das Apartment ist geräumig. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze auf dem Gelände sind mit einem Rolltor gesichert. Buchung und Check-in waren (in unserem Fall auch nach Schließung der Rezeption) problemlos möglich.

Die Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern funktionierte gut. Der Pool ist bis in den Abend hinein geöffnet.

Cons:

Insgesamt wirkt das Apartment recht abgenutzt. Eine Renovierung wäre bald mal wieder notwendig. Man merkt den Möbeln, der Küche und den Räumen an, dass sie schon ein paar Jahre und Gäste hinter sich haben.

Die Matratzen der Betten waren jedoch in Ordnung. Wir konnten gut schlafen.

Pros:

The Location was great - close to everything - The Cock and Bull was an amazing feed! huge meals.

Cons:

Bathroom was rundown and toilet was noisy - the couches need to be replaced it was like sitting in carboard

A very comfortable stay as a family
Pros:

The place was very comfortable and was a great place to stay after a very last minute move from a different unacceptable motel. The size was great, the location was great. It had everything we needed for an almost week long stay. The hosts were extremely hospitable checking in on us half way through our stay to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

There was no dryer (had a washing machine which was fantastic), and having stayed in Winter the weather didn't dry our clothes as quickly as you would expect any other time of the year.

Pros:

The location and property were great, the staff were lovely and helpful, the accommodation was great, roomy, clean, the tv was huge.
