Great location
Pros:

The location is really good, close to the BIC, the pier and many other attractions. Staff are vrry friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious.

Cons:

The breakfast could have been better, there was very limited choice

It was fit for purpose as only spent one night there.
Pros:

Close to the beach, Bournemouth pavilion and BIC.

Cons:

The room was a bit musty smelling, like it had previously been a smoking room. You couldn't open the window and you had to lock the door when leaving as it was an old style key and take a big key ring with you. There were only plastic glasses in the room too which is a bit cheap. The breakfast was ok and cooked to order but the sausage was cheap and poor quality. There was limited fruit, yoghurt and only croissant for the continental compared to other hotels .

If you don’t mind dingy old hotels and a rubbish bed then stay here.

Cons:

Rude staff, old rooms. Awful mattress, rubbish pillows. Noisy- thin walls and doors. This is not a 4 star hotel by any standards.

Busy road ruins your sleep
Pros:

Price and bed linen and shower was ok. Breakfast was also OK.

Cons:

Busy road in front and poor -to-none noise blocking windows/walls. Very difficult to sleep unless maybe you have earplugs. No proper blinds in windows. Old building, old furniture.

Would stay again !
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location for easy access to beach, promenade, gardens and bus stops very conveniently placed a few steps away.
This hotel has east disabled access with a separate slope into the hotel which was very useful
All staff were friendly and helpful and Vicky was especially chatty and friendly.
We requested a low floor room with twin beds and our needs were met with an exceptionally large twin room with sitting area and spacious bathroom which also had a sew view. The room was spotlessly clean and also had a nice touch of bottled water in the room which was much appreciated along with tea and coffee.
We were very happy with the location and our room.

Cons:

The nice room we had being on the low floor had a lot of road noise but that can't be helped. The positive aspects such as the location and proximity to the pier and seafront made up for the fact it was a little noisy at night.
The breakfast buffet was fine for the couple of nights we were staying but we didn't like the scrambled eggs or omelette very much. The hot water for making tea and coffee in the flasks could have been hotter for our liking , again it didn't detract from a nice stay at the Sea Stone Hotel.

Super stay!
Pros:

We were greeted by the lovely guy on reception AJ & he was super friendly & very helpful. Had an upgrade which was fabulous with sea view. Really is a lovely hotel & close to everything. The room was clean, fresh & comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of continental & cooked breakfast , full English with lots of options. And again staff were very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel, give it a try if going to Bournemouth!

I'll be back...
Pros:

As a lone traveller I usually get a poky room with a view of the bins. I was thrilled with the view. The location was perfect for my visit. The staff were accommodating and polite. The furniture/ carpet had seen better days. This though, was a minor detail. I will definitely stay here again

But there was no evening meal as the restaurant was closed

There could be some safety rails in the bathroom as stepping over the bath for the shower can be hazardous for some guests.
