Pros:

Die Nähe zur Promenade und die Aussicht aufs Meer.

Cons:

Es ist alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Bad, Ausstattung.
Das Frühstück war lieblos und sehr einfach gehalten. Es gab kein frisches Obst. Die Menükarten waren fleckig und alt und haben inhaltlich nicht gestimmt. Die Tische waren klebrig. Der Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne und das Teewasser lauwarm.

Could be much better with a little thought and a small investment

Cons:

This is not a four star hotel. It needs a lot of investment since it is somewhat tired and outdated. A way of ameliorating the negatives would be to supply a quality breakfast but I am afraid breakfast was poor. Not many 4 star hotels serve coffee and tea out of Thermos jugs and the fare was ooor quality and sparse and replenished infrequently

Beyond my expectations
Pros:

Was a last minute booking ie actually on the day. Arrived at around 1600 and was pleasantly surprised by its location, around 300 metres from the main beach. Hotel looked good from outside so went to book in and the receptionist was excellent, very pleasant and helped out with getting me to the right car park as I’d actually gone in the wrong one. I’d booked a single room but I was upgraded to a double which was very generous. The receptionist couldn’t do enough for me. Got to my room and was met by a very light and airy spacious room. Very clean and had everything I needed. Slept well in a comfortable bed and as breakfast was included in the price the next morning I went to sample it. Very pleasant restaurant staff and a well cooked and presented full English set me up for the day. On departure again reception staff were very pleasant and at that point I knew I’d be staying there again. Great price, comfort room, great location and excellent staff.

Great place to stay.
Pros:

Very warm welcome when we arrived. The room was very spacious and clean. Great location opposite the BIC couldn't get any closer. I would definitely stay again .

Fantastic stay and experience
Pros:

The staff at reception and at the restaurant were very polite, helpful and professional looking. One of the cleaners I came across in the corridor was also super nice 😊
The breakfast deal has you place orders from a set menu and food was well made and delicious. The buffet was minimal but had all the main necessities, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, juices, spreads, etc.
Location is also excellent as the hotel is very close to the main pier and a 10-min walk to centre.
Overall a very good experience for me at the Sea Stone Hotel!

It was not pleasant.
Pros:

I was moved from an extremely small room to a larger one when I complained that since I was staying for eight nights I needed a bigger room. It was a poor choice to put me in the first room. The larger room was comfortable.

Cons:

A whole bunch of things could have been better. There was no fridge, no way to buy food and keep it or a drink cold. Zero air-conditioning, so I and others that I met were sweating and feeling sick with the heat. A lot of people left their room doors open because the corridor was cooler than their room. The breakfast was a good spread for a continental breakfast but the cooked one was terrible. Everything was obviously canned or mushy and the baked beans were cold. I stuck to croissants after that. In spite of the incredible location I would not go back and do not recommend this hotel.
