Well the hotel only a stone throw from the beach.
The guy on reception was always smiling.

The hotel seemed scruffy espescially the carpet.
The bed very uncomfortable as the end of the bed jutted out so you had to be careful not to hit your leg, as both me and my wife did and still have the bruises!
The cleaning was poor as the toilet needed strong bleach.
Only 2 cleaners for the whole hotel. These cleaners looked certainly stretched. One day our room was still waiting to be cleaned at 5.00pm! The reason given "they were short staffed".
The breakfast was included but the quality was below what we would expect from 4 stars?
The food was regularly just tepid especially the baked beans and tinned watery mushrooms.
No fruit on offer just very basic food, not even bread rolls on offer!
Certainly not 4 stars!
When we booked we were told there was a restuarant for evening meals but when we arrived we found it closed because it was in the process of changing owners.
Booking.com did not make us aware of this.
So disappointing and well deserving of financial compensation from booking.com.
What makes the stay even worse was the the reason for our stay was to celebrate my wifes birthday.
Such a disaster!
Last year we stayed in hotel in Spain and that was 4 star.
No comparison!
Also I need to point out the size of the shower, as any man with a beer belly or lady with large breasts would have trouble closing the shower doors.
Booking.com are certainly guilty of misrepresentation!
Nice neat clean
We got a really nice room with a bit of sea view.
Location is perfect! Staff are always very attentive....they go over and beyond to make you feel welcome. I always use this hotel. Rooms are spacious and I often get a Seaview which is lovely. Breakfast is very nice.

Es fehlt eine Hotellounge, die Rezeption ist winzig, das Frühstück war trotz englisch breakfast allenfalls Fastfood Niveau mit Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne und meist verpackten Fertigprodukten, der Frühstücksraum hat die Atmosphäre einer Bahnhofshalle. Für mich sind das trotz des guten Zimmers keine 4 Sterne

The room was very hot.

Too hot in the room due to no air conditioning. The fan supplied did little to help. Opened windows to cool off, and the smell of smoke came in from a balcony where guests would smoke. No parking on site.
