Cheap and safe

Staff friendly and helpful
Location
Stayed just now in June, serious decline in public areas. Marijuana smoking , cigarette smokers crowding the entrance. The staff are nice people, and of course say sorry. But this situation is out of hand in Winnipeg. To the point most hotels have security guards at the door. So managers need step up, otherwise if you let the weed smoking to continue, it merely attracts unregistered guests. I won’t be back

Everything is great!
Breakfast was.good, I like rhe water bottle refill station. Rooms had a lot of space. Beds were comfy
The comforter was thin for the bed but that's me as I like a thicker comforter
Fire alarm going off at 12am and having to evacuate in the middle of the night when I had to wake up early and travel a long distance.

It was clean and location was good for this particular trip. It had been a couple of years since my last visit and I was happy to see they have started doing some upgrades to the rooms. Not all but there are some renovated rooms.
I have to say the only thing this trip was my bed wasn’t very comfortable- but I’m sure eventually they will have all the beds upgraded.
