Pros:

We loved the location and the look of this hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful for absolutely anything.especially Marion who was a font of knowledge for our bike rides / restaurant recommendations & bookings. Beautiful bar eoth gardens to enjoy a drink.

Cons:

We booked this hotel thinking of the French shutters and beautiful vibe. However we were given a room called the Indian pavilion in the garden which was a bit like Glamping. We should have told them it wasn’t what we expected but we went along with it. Not an experience I’d like to repeat however have to say the beds were very comfy but the dark wooden interior and strong smell of wood did nothing to enhance our comfort.

An oasis of calm and comfort away from the crowds, but still in the centre of the action.
Pros:

The location was super. An oasis of calm in the grassy garden, sipping a wonderful cocktail from the bar, away from the madness of the harbour. Such a fantastic setting, and the room was wonderful and historic. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially enjoyed the service at the bar and at breakfast. I will be back!

Very Comfortable and Classy
Pros:

Lovely smart place. Lots of character and very clean.

Cons:

The bollard in the road that we couldn’t drive over to find the hotel!! The code we were given didn’t work so we had to park in the huge car park nearby and walk with our bags to find the hotel on foot. Once in the hotel we were guided to the parking around a different way.

We were welcomed with a warm smile. The warm hospitality continued throughout our stay.
