Uitstekende uitvalbasis voor bezoek Caen en Normandië,

Pros:

La chambre est correcte.
Nous avons apprécié la mise à disposition de peignoirs et chaussons même si nous n'en avons pas eu besoin.

Wellness hotel zonder wellness
Pros:

Dit hotel is goed gelegen en heeft een privé parking.

Cons:

We hadden het hotel geboekt omdat het een wellness had, maar bij aankomst bleek deze in renovatie te zijn. Dit was ons niet gemeld door het hotel en ook niet door Booking.com. Verder is alles nogal donker en heeft het hotel een opfrisbeurt nodig om echt 5* te behouden. Ook het 1* Michlin restaurant was gesloten. Hadden we dit allemaal geweten we hadden een ander wellness hotel geboekt

Breakfast was ok and room was a good size

Where to start

1. The stale smell of the reception
2. The spa being closed with no reasoning and our booking cancelled for the spa.
3. No bar
4. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete
5. Water in the shower was not hot
6. The premiere inn has much better decor and comfort
7. The staff stop speaking English when you want to complain
8. Location is not good

Overall this place was terrible

Disappointing.
Pros:

We had a one-night stay booked, with dinner in the restaurant. Smooth check-in, very helpful staff, and no problem parking. We turned on the TV, but not many channels were available, and we had a problem getting into the wi-fi, so we tried to phone reception to ask why, but found the room telephone was not working. My husband went down to reception, and the very nice chap there came up and removed the phone. This was around 4pm, and the phone was not replaced until after we had returned from dinner - around 10pm. Still no YouTube or many channels on the TV - but the following morning the lady on reception told us that there is a wi-fi problem in the area - so the hotel are aware of this, but still advertise a service which does not work properly. This was not a 5-star service by any means. On a positive note the room was very nice, and spacious, as was the bathroom.

Awful hotel, other 2-3 star hotels in the area are better
Pros:

We left and went to another hotel nearby (a 3-star which was significantly better). A red-flag was when we arrived, there were no other cars in their parking lot (we arrived 1.5h after check-in begun), and there was no one in the reception.

The hotel is awful, doesn’t meet the government standards for a 5-star hotel (wifi is needed to be considered a 4-star). They advertise free wifi, however when we got there, there was no wifi at all (not working on our devices nor on their tv which were supposed to be connected to wifi). They told us they would look into it, took them over an hour and when we followed up with them they stated that they had no wifi and could do nothing about it. They then told us that the lack of wifi is a problem in the area and that they are the victims in this, bs because a nearby hotel had excellent wifi, this leads me to believe they knew about the problem and tried to mislead us.

The hotel room door was difficult to unlock as well from the outside and inside. The hotel staff said we should have told them about that earlier and that they would have helped, but in a fire or emergency, this could be life-threatening.

We changed hotels and that was the best decision we made. They still charged us for the first night, which we will dispute because again, they mislead what services are offered.

Parenthèse enchantée pour la seconde fois, moment de sérénité dans une période qui l'est moins.
L'hôtellerie est parfaite et la restauration est divine.

L'hôtel bien ,le personnel agréable et l'écoute.
La chambre très grande et propre .

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner, n'était pas a la hauteur de l'établissement. ( pas assez de variétés en vennoiseries ) .
Et avoir un café servi tiède, je trouve pas ça correct .
Pour un tarif de 18 € .
Nous avons fait plusieurs hôtels, et c'est celui-ci le plus déçu au petit déjeuner .

Le confort est toujours là,. La propreté aussi.
Petit-déjeuner en progrès et de très bon rapport Q/P.

Pas au niveau de ce qu’on attend d’un 5 étoiles du point de vue de l’équipement, notamment les prises de courant insuffisantes, et le spa qui (en dehors du fait que le hammam était en panne) fait « bricolé », avec le toit ouvert, et un passage par les salles de service pour y accéder. Je ne m’attendais pas à ce que l’hôtel soit ex centre: la voiture était préférable.
