Very central and clean modern rooms
Staff a bit dry
I was surprised to see a clean and neat bedroom here. The bathroom was also clean. There are pubs, cafes, and restaurants nearby, so it’s really great. I stayed during the week in May. It’s not a busy season yet, so there’s no live music from the pub below.

The hotel met my expectations and was a good base for a couple of nights whilst exploring Ireland. I had been pre-warned that it could be a lively area but I have to say that my room was at the back of the hotel and I didn't have an adverse experience although this was during the early part of the week. An enjoyable breakfast spread.
The hotel entrance is not that easy to locate (or not by me!). I did explore before booking in and I should have followed my pre-planned route from the railway station. Once I had sorted myself out it was a ten to fifteen minute walk. There are plenty of taxis at the station for those arriving with suitcases who might otherwise be put off!

Good location for off site parking and bars and eateries. Breakfast was good and generously portioned. Bedroom was a good size as was the bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff very friendly. Our room was overlooking the church so not near the bars next door.
No shelves in bathroom/shower meant that toiletries were on the floor. Bath towels were very small, you certainly couldn't wrap yourself in them unless you were a size 6 or less! Despite being at the quieter side of the hotel it was still noisy after dark (even on a Wednesday night!) It wasn't an issue for us but if you're a light sleeper maybe take some earplugs with you.
*** Traveller Hint*** get down to breakfast early! It gets very busy after 8am.

La salle de bain était sale et le pommeau de douche en décomposition...
Les vitres ont chacunes plusieurs centimètres de vide entre leur joint et le mur, ce qui fait qu'on entend beaucoup l'extérieur et qu'il y a des courants d'air.

Music from pub directly under our room did not allow sleep until after midnight. Hotel notified us via email after cancellation period ended to expect noise and also no parking availability. Offered small discount to overnight parking garage which is closed overnight. Fine if you don’t need your car between 9 pm and 7 am. Choose room 113 if you dream of sleeping on a pumping dance floor.
