Het was super : heel goede ligging vlak bij station en bij het centrum. Ruime kamers die goed onderhouden zijn. Ruime en gezellige ontbijtruimte. Prachtige tuin en groot zwembad.

Beautiful hotel, with great rooms, pool and attentive staff
Pros:

Loved pretty much everything about the hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room, great pool, we had a room towards the luscious garden which felt like a real bonus, and we arrived by train which was 5mn away by foot. Extremely clean, well located for travellers, 10mn from city centre and the lake shore, reachable by foot or a short funicular ride. We had a wonderful stay for two nights

Cons:

Not much to criticise, the only thing I noticed was that the hotel was not very ecologically conscious, for example in the bathroom there could be cream, shower gel and shampoo dispensers, at breakfast, jams, honey and butter could come from jars as opposed to little single units in small disposable containers.

Ett sjarmerende hotell. En oase sentralt i byen, hvor vinrankene hang rundt solsengene.

Cons:

Hold terassedøren lukket på natten, togene går rett utenfor 😂 men er dlren lukket, så hørte du nesten ingenting.

Super Aufenthalt, kommen wieder
Pros:

Tolle Lage am Bahnhof mit schönem Blick auf den See. Vom Bahnhof geht es direkt mit dem "Aufzug" in die Altstadt. Vom Hotel bekommt man die Ticino Card zur kostenlosen Nutzung der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und Vergünstigungen für Museen etc. Ein dickes Lob an Giuseppe von der Bar sowie auch an alle Mitarbeiter im Haus. Sehr schöne Villa mit einem Nebengebäude, Pool, sehr schönem Palmengarten und Restaurant. Das Abendessen im Restaurant inkl. dem hauseigenen Wein waren super. Das Frühstück war ok, Zimmer in der Villa mit Terrasse und Blick auf See und die Hausberge, einfach mega. Wir fanden es toll die vorbeifahrenden Züge zu beobachten. Die Lautstärke hat uns nicht gestört. Nachts sind die Fenster geschlossen und Klimaanlage läuft. Parkplatz ist vorhanden und gut.

Wir lieben dieses Hotel und verbringen regelmässig Freizeit in diesem historischen Gebäude!

Im Quervergleich zu anderen Hotels einfach überragend!

Cons:

Das dazugehörende Restaurant im Park überzeugt in 2 Punkten nicht:
1. Das Personal wirkt befremdlich unprofessionell und unmotiviert; interessanterweise unterscheiden sich dieselben Personen zu denjenigen Im Frühstücksbereich im Hotel deutlich. Das Personal aus dem Restaurant wird auch im Hotel im Frühstücksbereich eingesetzt.
2. Die Privatsphäre an den Tischen ist nicht gegeben.
